Sleeper Technology, where are we at?

Hello folks,

Just wanted to ask a few questions..

1 - Where are we at when it comes to our understanding of Sleeper Technology? (I read a few posts from 2010/2011 about the subject, none on more recent discoveries/research)

2 - How can I get involved with helping not only my understanding, but other capsuleers' understanding of Sleeper tech?

Thanks for the information! (if any)

http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Arek%27Jaalan this page and related articles might be of use as far as i know its best source of information thou alot of projects involved with A'J are on temporary Hiatus due to CCP Dropbears departure and the new live event team still figuring out what goes where.

Thanks Naraish.

If you all don't mind me asking, why did CCP Dropbear leave? Is there any link to an explanation? was it just a sudden occurrence?

Is there a link to information on the new live event team?

Sorry for all the questions, just very new to all this and don't have much direction other then the link above and a few people in game..

He got married and moved back to The Land Down Under. Nothing more sinister than that.

Ah okay, well good for him! Big smile

So how does one go about joining one of the divisions of Arek'Jaalan?

You sign up to their mailing list, and start posting. There is no application, or corporation to join.

Just to warn you though, its a bit slow because of the Dropbear thing. There can be no confirmation of "My god, you are right!" or "That's way off the mark", so at the moment its just a bunch of RPers circlejerking. Which is sad, because we in TS-F were having a lot of fun being antagonists to A'J. :(

really? i thought you TS-F folk were some of more entertaining individuals around. still kind of similar opinion not much has happened one way or the other as i did enjoy some of the more vivid discussions on the channel and mailing list which ended fairly quickly as i joined into the A'J rather late month or so after jita riots.

so unless something dramatic happens when inferno goes out. odds are i might have to look for my RP fix somewhere else :(

Well, you could always come Fight For The Master. :D

We haven't stopped RPing, but at the moment then only real way to poke at A'J is to attack and 'harvest' Site One. Since its in highsec, no one can really stop us. We've done all we can to make it possible by dropping cans all over the site while we are doing it, but that still leaves us with the advantage.
