Just noticed after posting that this is the wrong place and there's no way for me to move it and, re-posting would be redundant. Sorry, still getting used to the new forums since returning to the game. Is there a way to request a moderator to move this?

Concept: An alternative to the jet cans and giant secure cans used by miners in New Eden. The Mobile Mining Station (or MMS) is a deployable structure capable of being carried out to an asteroid belt and anchored in place. The MMS has an ore hopper with password protected access similar to a GSC. The idea is to hopefully reduce the number of GSCs anchored in asteroid belts and to provide a defense against the current can flipping tactic.

The MMS provides absolutely no bonuses to mining in any way. The MMS does give a bonus to the transfer range for mining barges and industrial ships, allowing ships to transfer ore from twice the normal distance (5000 km instead of 2500 km).

Usage: An individual or corporation locates an asteroid field and decides to deploy the MMS. The MMS is brought to the location by any ship capable of transporting at least 6000 to 8000 cubic meters of space (it will fit in a hulk or covetor, without cargo mods), where it is then anchored for use. Just like GSCs, the MMS can be left in place but will be purged from its location if its not accessed regularly (say once every 30 days just like current GSCs).

Optioinal: The MMS does require fuel in the form of enriched uranium and water to power a small reactor that provides power to the increased range of its transfer systems.

Structure HP = 5100
Armor HP = 2000
Ore Hopper = 55,000 m3 (only holds mining crystals and ore)
Mass = 1,500,000 kg
Volume = 6000 m3
Anchoring delay = 2 minutes
Online delay = 2 minuntes
Unanchor delay = 2 minutes
Cost = 14 million

Sure adding this would reduce the number of GSC's, but there'd also be thousands of these absolutely everywhere.

It also makes solo mining a lot more profitable whilst not adding much to group ops, which is pretty silly.

I am in no way going to insult you

You are an idiot.

I know you think "to mining" but it does!
you can be 2500m close to a rock and not need to move into range
You do not need to warp off
Your ore will not be stolen
