to be frank i hate it , i have lost more game play with the all new launcher,
it seem to break down more than its working
run the repair tool still wont work
result cant play eve that i pay for
ccp needs reopen the by pass to the launcher
till the bugs are out
or scrap it
i am so sick of seeing " There an unexpected problem re launch eve launcher or run the repair tool"
eve is my relax time that i pay for i expect it too work
go back to the old launcher or give us a by pass when the new one breaks down!!
I cant be the only player with this problem!
i just want to play that all. is this too much to ask
because i am paying for game time that i cant play,

click on the option [only display launcher when there is an update] and voila!
PS:also make sure you if you are runing windows 7 to right click on it and run as administrator.
Do this for all the changes that you concider to be safe runining it under those permissions

So if you are installing something that is SAFE, then use administrator option.
This is a critical issue and causes a lot of problems for people that install or update stuff and do not do it under those permissions. It causes A LOT of issues cos runing un update under no admin right can prevent the upgrades from making changes to the system. I even suggest for you to run the EVE client by doing the right click run as administrator each time you want to play the game and if their is an upgrade, it would directly run in admin right this way!

The launcher is generally great, especially if you use the "only display if update" option.
I've never had any issues with it not patching correctly, it has worked flawlessly so far.
The only thing that bugs me is the splash screen, which i think should have a on/off tickbox also.

sometimes it starts two clients, and my laptop overheats from that so no.. I don't like it.. made a shortcut to exefile.exe instead.
