Also a little concerned about the lack of info for this client patch. Did we miss something scheduled for the 8th of May?

That change wasn't in the patch notes. I didn't see the undoing of the change in any patch notes either.

Edit: actually the undoing of the change was in the patch notes. Also I'd like to say that I never said that I was good at thinking. Only that I like to think.

They fixed it with a client update a week ago.

There are people in here posting things that make good sense, CCP. People who rarely make good sense.

This is a real problem because in order to use the sandbox we have to be able to see what's in it.

You said more communication and more transparency.

The fact that there is no dev comment yet, no patch notes yet, not even a GM comment is not very impressive whatsoever.

Is this ineptitude? Was it planned? Can you spin it for us please? We all want to learn about ethereal propagation and the niceties of watching what we do, not what we say...

They did that a couple of days ago in a previous stealth patch.

Do you really expect them to give you details of the special Goon only patches they release? Jeez guys they can't exactly come out and tell you all they're helping us win at Eve, that'd look pretty bad.

I'm sorry about the lack of information for this mini-patch we put out today. The truth is there wasn't much to talk about because it was all back end stuff, stuff like adding logs to improve metrics for staff and improvements to back end tools for staff. Nothing fancy and fun like Inferno will be but all stuff that needed to go out. We should have told you that anyway of course and we'll aim to do better for future patches.

Thank you for looking into this, and yes, please post information even if it is as simple as you have stated. We shall hold thee to thy promises for Empress Sarum demands no less. ;)

Doesnt matter how small or unexciting the patch is - we still want to know what its for. And whilst your at it, patch every other day is annoying!!

And with your history of breaking things that are not even being touched in the patch you need to be telling us everything that should be changing this way when something breaks we know.

Dident one patch make your PC not boot deleting the boot.ini file?

Ya ccp... think you proved we need to know "fun" or not.

(cause making the amarr bomber look like **** is fun, cause the new effects are "fun" forget nexus had better effects in 04)

That helped me understand the patch way better than all your words did (who reads those, anyway?). You should do graphs to explain more things CCP do. Improved communication, transparency, buzz words and all.

I just think it's funny that they now have three methods of patching, makes me think that different teams/departments are all using their preference.

1. Launcher Updates.
2. Client Updates at login screen
3. Login Screen client update followed by "Installer"

Pick on CCP.

Yeah, they really should get rid of 2.+3.

And add patch notes in time when they release something, no matter how small.

Remove standings and insurance.
