CCP remember when... You told us about patches?

You promised more communication and more transparency but you are falling into lazy ways _again_ by not posting any patch notes to these MANY stealth updates.

Your LAUNCHER is an evil addiction... it is nice you can roll out patches quickly, but you are not telling us what is in the patch.

Please explain why you can't be arsed to tell us what is being "fixed".

Agreed, I'd like to see some current patch notes when I click on the " Latest Patch Notes " while the launcher is patching thanks

I remember the days when patch notes were released well in advance of an expansion so people could discuss them in the information portal thread.
But then I remember when finding bugs or issues on Sisi could get them fixed before they hit Tranquility.

Remember the days when women couldn't vote and certain folks were not allowed on golf courses?

Joking aside, get with the patch notes and stuff.

Space. It seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.

I just think it's funny that they now have three methods of patching, makes me think that different teams/departments are all using their preference.

1. Launcher Updates.
2. Client Updates at login screen
3. Login Screen client update followed by "Installer"

Pick on CCP.

They're probably just updating legacy code. God knows this game must have a lot of it.

Agreed, it would be good to read patch notes for all and any patches. These stealth-patches make my mouse finger twitch.

I just noticed the 'patch notes' button has been removed from the log-in screen. Lol

Sure, it'd be nice... But I somehow doubt that the quickie patches contain any changes that are relevant to our interests anyway.

2nd of May is the update you're talking about right? Wasn't hard to find. I just looked around the website and found this...

Patch notes for EVE Online: Escalation to Inferno 1.0.3

To be released on Wednesday, May 2, 2012.

User Interface
• It is now possible to toggle the overload status of damaged modules.

I like to think that less time spent on updating patch notes = more time working on EVE.

Thinking is fine, but you also must be observant.

Yes it's easy to find what they published, but there was a patch just after downtime today. The launcher is so quick, most people don't notice a patch was installed.

I did notice it. I also know it isn't the 2nd of May. I was trying to be funny.

Maybe they returned the Orca corp hanger back to normal?

That change wasn't in the patch notes. I didn't see the undoing of the change in any patch notes either.

Edit: actually the undoing of the change was in the patch notes. Also I'd like to say that I never said that I was good at thinking. Only that I like to think.
