So im wondering what ppl think or know from experience works best in small gangs or solo.

tactics and fitings f.eks:

Brawling
Kiting
Sniping
nanotanks vs heavy tanking
active vs passive tanking
Speedtanking (Dose it work aganist gangs?)
Baiting (what ships work best?)
Alpha vs dps?
cloaking vs logoff
etc.
Basically when which tactic works the best for u and why?

Obviously, it's situational.

Against competent gangs, not really. We had pretty much the ultimate speed-tanking comp run against our usual Muninn fleet, literally weren't even calling primaries because they were popping before most of us could lock.

1. Don't die.
2. Kill the other guy(s).
3. Always carry an exotic dancer in your hold (makes those long waits between fights fun).

Bring 5 Guardians, camp in a Major plex whilst your 0 Logistic enemies bash your Bunker, then complain when they flip the system despite the fact you could have easily engaged at will and triumphed.

Don't be so hard on yourself! This is what you do: when you see a fleet like that on shortscan, just tell your sixteen tier 3 battlecruisers to MWD away from the bunker. You can make it hard for them.

SiSi now displays system % contested. Maybe they'll also teach the crew at the ihub to keep defenders updated - right now, the only way to check is to warp to the bunker in something with high scan res, target it, and then warp off in your pod.

Hmm best tactic........

Have a bigger fleet then the other guy and a good FC with competent Intel\Scouts, Also note a mixed fleet composition can fill in the holes allowing for a wider array of available targets.

Posting for dummies.
3 simple rules to follow so u don't end up posting like A: re tard, B: 2year old, C: re tard ed 2 year old monkey....

Step 1: Read the question, if u don't have more then a 2nd grade reading level then go to the zoo, steal a monkey and have it hit u on the head for not paying attention at school.

Step 2: Remember the original question and try to give a answer relevant to the question insted of writing the first thing that the voices in ur head tell u to.

But if he would have read the original post is clearly says; ''So im wondering what ppl think or know from experience works best in small gangs or solo.''

Step 3: Stick to the original topic. Allthough trolling posts can give some ppl a boner, this way of geting urself off is only for pro trolls and u should never attempt this without enough redbull and vodka that would put WOW players to shame. Neckbeards will also be required.

Follow these 3 simple rules and soon u too can start making sense.
Some important info:

''For every idiot proof system devised, a new, improved idiot will arise to overcome it.''

The best tactics in the sense of the best kill to own loss ratio is the blob. Bring at least twice that many friends than the enemy blob has. With regards to fun the best tactics is to go solo... and in case you win than usually it is a lot of fun... but in most cases you will lose due to the enemy blob.

So what did we learned from this: there is no best tactics in EVE. It is all situation dependend and it is all a matter of your attitude.

I don't know I'd call it the best tactic, but the most effective PVP tactic is "The Almighty Blob."

Land on grid, identify face and shoot repeatedly until victorious.

Kind of like a projectile cumshot.

Bring small bottle to collect tears for maximum win.

If I had to come up with one answer it'd be , "Be in the fastest ship."

Never ever EVER be the first person on grid ALWAYS make sure you are last, make sure you don't listen to the fc asking you to fit a point just get more tank instead.

make sure you fit the smallest guns/weapons so Ýou can use every mw/cpu for as much tank you can think of.

Fit warp core stabs, as soon as you get locked warp out.

Always stay out of your optimal range, it's your job to killmail whore they don't need your dps.

And as logi: don't activate your modules its better to have a alt in the corp your pvping against and looting and salvaging it all.

And finally if you use comms which are uselss report fake intel about a titan ratting 19jumps away while there is actually a blob there.

Not done yet...capitals are supereffective solo anti sub-cap platforms that are immume to sub caps and will always win against subcaps.
