Copied and pasted basically from AARs, with a few names/terms to protect the innocent.

http://awhisperinmyghost.com/EvE/EDK/?a=kill_related&kll_id=4732

So, "battle" report. I logged on to see if there were any k-space exits because I was coming up on a new clone. Seeing a high-sec in corp BMs, but no one knew anythign about it, I decided to check it out. I should also mention that there was only one other and me logged on at this point and I wasn't initially on coms, cause I was only going to be logged in for 5 minutes, or so I thought.

So, I jump into our static in my cov-ops, and warp to the hole at 20-30 KM. As I land on grid, my screen has a goddamn seizure cause :CCP: and the patch that was applied that say, and I end up in a HIC bubble, 10KM away from a fleet stabber that was camping the hole. So, after I started breathing again, I realized there was indeed a hole to high-sec, which the locals were using.

Knowing this, I figured I would check how many locals were active, and if it was feasible to wait until they were done with whatever. So I started warping to all of the POSs in the system. Found a few piloted ships, then came upon a POS at P9M15.

I had logged on to mumble after almost being ganked, to see if there was anyone around, just not logged in. So all I had to do was ask "Gentlemen, does anyone want to steal some ships?" That's right, we were going to Ram-raid an offline POS with active pilots in the system.

There was 1 SMA and 1 CHA. Immediately after I asked, 4-5 people spoke up, we formed up with stealth bombers, a cloaky hauler, and a capsule or 2. Less than 10 minutes after I found the POS, we popped the 2 modules, and were looting as fast as we could. It took maybe 2 minutes before the first enemy ship landed, but we noticed almost as soon as he did, and GTFO'd.

We ended up with a myrm, a rapier with a nice faction web, a bunch of BPCs, a few BPOs, and an Imp navy EANM. Not bad for about 7 minutes work.

Those of you who bothered to look at who killed the hardeners will note that it was not TRECI. This operation almost ended in tears cause of that. After stealing their ****, we figured they were mad enough to play, and reshipped into a kiting shield fleet. I was still watching the POS, that was now being onlined, and TRECI was less than a minute from jumping back into A, when this happened:

http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/4346/treciavoidsdeath.jpg

(TEMNAVA for the lazy) I wisely yelled check, stopped the fleet from coming in, and proceeded to watch the show:

http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/9308/opesneedspopcorn.jpg

I trashed the locals in local a bit

[ 2012.04.24 22:15:26 ] > goddamn
[ 2012.04.24 22:15:32 ] > you guys got ****** on this one
[ 2012.04.24 22:15:40 ] > i mean
[ 2012.04.24 22:15:43 ] > 2 corps
[ 2012.04.24 22:15:50 ] > thats just bad luck

Found out some info

[ 2012.04.24 22:16:33 ] > why the hell was it offline
[ 2012.04.24 22:16:50 ] czMulti > member thats no longer a member ****** up

And even found out that NorCorp was somewhere around, just a bit dead

[ 2012.04.24 22:25:29 ] W01F GEO > we cleared norcorp and you are killing their pods? :P
[ 2012.04.24 22:25:44 ] W01F GEO > http://tmall.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=13165225

And then that, as they say, was that. Also holy ****, was that tl;dr.

Cliff notes:

-I uses up all his EVE luck for the next 30 days and finds a POS with no forcefield.
-TRECI shoots, steals, and leaves
-TRECI also avoids getting ganked

Nice stories here. I got one fail and one win we found pretty funny.

The fail was when we were living in a c3 with hs static, we had the hole open and most of us were out fannying about. One member tho was sitting on the hole inside in a drake, and he suddenly called us all back. There was a drake some 50k from the hole.
Needless to say many of us mumbled back and forth "Obvious trap is a trap", but he was determined to kill him. We all got back to the hole and suited up. He called me in a broadsword to warp to the hole at 50 and bubble up, so I did... And some friends fielded a Bhaalgorn, navy mega and some other stuff... And in came all the drakes friends. I cant remember all the details other than that I lost the broadsword, the bhaal died and the navy mega died. Our FC in the drake jumped to hs...

This was when we still warped to all our new wormholes to "check where they went" without jumping, thinking we were safe... Yeah, we got raped a few times...

But over to more pleasant stuff. We currently live in a C5 and there were just two of us online. I was playing skyrim >.< shhh.
Anyways, I get a text asking if I could get online, "there is killz to be had". So I promptly logged in.
Apparently someone from another C5 had opened their static to ours. Report was they had a chimera and some other fun stuff.

But shortly after they opened their hole, they all decided to form a mining op. 5 hulks in a belt with a itty for hauling. Sadly they were seperated with the biggest gang of 3 hulks. We got a bookmark (they did not even spot probes). I jumped in a Broadsword, friend in a Proteus and an alt of another dude in, yeah a probe i think it was... Moments later 3 hulks around 240 mill each were gone, and 3 pods were sent express to hs. One was over 500 mill. And he was the Chimera pilot :)

I guess someone forgot to tell the rest he loaded the static Blink

EDIT: Yeah we kept watch on the hole for a while. Everyone logged and noone was seen again. We let the hole die on its own.

On the second day that my corp moved into our very first C2 we ran the sites and scanned down some new ones and ran those. We all grouped up and were waiting for our indy guy to show up to take the loot out and bring back some POS fuel. While we were waiting a corpie and I decided to brawl. He got me knocked into armor and wouldn't stop shooting. So I locked the Noctis, scrammed it, and threatened to put a salvo into it if I got shot.

My corpmate stops shooting and calls over comms for every one to lock me for threatening the loot ( 20 ribbons in the hold and 7 members online). So my shields are charging at this point and my corp mate calls for another guy to fire on me from a 1400 Arty Tribal Tempest. Except he misheard and locked the Noctis which I had unscrammed and was telling the pilot to run to the POS.

Tempest: 1
Untanked Noctis: 0

what did not drop: 1 single ribbon

It is now a corp ritual to sacrifice a Noctis in every hole we move into.

Despite my posting prowess I really am terrible at this game

Your corpmate has some serious balls on him, bringing an ultra-rare ship into a w-space and all.

Got another fun one.

We had a incoming null hole and put a scout there just to keep watch for a while. Was only one in local.

Our scout was watching the dude in a pos wich allso had a nidhoggur and a charon in it.

Suddenly our scout starts laughing like hell. Seems the dude has been fiddling with pos setup and launched the nid and charon out to space :D

I still curse myself not beeing there with my main at the time, since we could have gotten a free carrier. But we stole the charon and killed the nidhoggur.

Collapsed the hole on our way back :)

Loki jumps into our C2 via hs static. There are only two of us online and we don't know if he's part of a hunting gang so we wait a bit. I've got an alt a few systems away coming in with supplies in a Domi.
The Loki jumps out just as my Domi arrives on the hole. Oh well.
I jump the alt in.
The Loki pilot jumps straight back in after me, to find us waiting for him.

Very nice shiny fit.

His excuse was he forgot about the timer..

In no particular order:

1. Some guy sat outside his pos in a HIC trying to catch our bombers, he brought out a harb with sebos and accidently targetted his own tower with hot weapons, he got lit up like a xmas tree. Then he decided it would be a good idea to put the harb pilot into a guardian and start repping mods, his agro timer was still on and got popped by his tower again. Then he rege-quit with his HIC bubble up and was stuck in it, indefinately giving himself agro until we killed him..

If you had recorded this and bothered to add the Benny Hill soundtrack to it, I'd be sending you quite a hefty amount of ISK for a signed copy.

Glorious.

Yes, comms was silent for about 5 seconds until I responded "Did we just kill the Noctis?"

Needless to say he almost lost that Tempest that day.

Edit: It is also nice to have a little pomp and circumstance involved in the corp as well.

There's three in the game.

Entity has one, the dude with all the ISK in PL has the other, and the third last changed hands for 100 billion at 2009's prices. Now I'm not sure where that one ever went*, but pretty sure it's not into a random 13 member WH corp no one has ever heard of (not to be taken as an insult).

I'm never really want to do the "pics or it didn't happen" thing ... but ... pics or it didn't happen.

Though, if it does belong to him, then there's a story to tell and I want to hear it.

* someone in the NC had it at some point, so it's anyone's guess.

EDIT: Actually, 4, but with three owners. Entity has two :)

Seleene is the other guy I was thinking of.

Last known owner of the 4th is voogru, who I've never seen post a sale from it.

So, that's all remaining Tribal Tempests accounted for Blink

I'd say, with the advance warning we had, anyone who lost stuff on that day would qualify for this thread.

EDIT: I've got one. One day one of our French corps found a Chimera floating in an offline tower and threw a character in it to steal it. They had to log it soon after because of hostiles coming in from k-space. They did manage to convo the original owner and sell the capital back to them for 850 mil, after which they left it at his tower.

Turns out the POS owner never reboarded the capital and changed the password on his POS, tossing the carrier back into space. Probe Patrol found it soon after:

http://kb.talocanunited.com/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=4385

The best part? We collected the insurance from the kill as well.

I'll take a carrier loss on my board for a story as funny as that.

I'll add to the funny: I was in warp to the high sec system that had the worm hole, excited to be getting in on a carrier kill. As I was traveling we were talking about making a bombing run on it, something that I hadn't done yet (had just trained up for bombs a few days before). So when I got in system I switched to my Combat tab which doesn't show corp members and made my run. Unfortunately my Combat tab doesn't show corp members, so I didn't see how close some of them were to the carrier. The next thing I know that guys are shouting "Bomb!" on comms and I'm saying "Um, was I not suppose to launch?!". Managed to give Kip some armor damage on his Proteus Oops

My bombing skills have improved :)

Recently we popped a Nighthawk, and while waiting on the wormhole back to our C2 they warped in a Macherial and a Falcon at range (about 70Km from the hole). I think they were trying to scare us off, but when JamesWyh burned to the Mach for the tackle and the rest of us followed the Falcon pilot warped off. The Macherial died and The Night Crew went to bed.

The single most LOL worthy thing I've seen has to be the Rattlesnake pilot who thought it was safe to chase my corp through a critted hole. Fine, it didn't collapse on him, but it certainly collapsed on the scorp we suicided to trap him in with us. Only down side was the dumb git self destructed his RS before we could break his tank. Mind you, from the looks of his kill board he needed to keep the loss off of it.

Runner up goes to the German corp who fail folded their K162 into our system. They jumped through two orcas at a time, and then wondered why one became trapped on our side. Said orca didn't last long. We facepalmed ourselves at how epically incomptent people had to be pull off that kind of loss.

Honourable mention to the guy two Sundays ago who was mining without D-scanning. The only thing that stopped me claiming his hulk as a kill was someone beating me to it, in between going back to get my ships and arriving on site. I'll admit I wibbled about my **** poor luck to my corp mates after that.

If i remember correctly, the guy that the carrier was sold to had just moved in to that wormhole and we were about to bash his pos but it turned out he knew one of our leaders.

The idiot didn't have the skills to fly the chimera so we generously decided to blow it up for him Big smile
