But it should, Faction War should encompass all NPC space and all those that live there, and by virtue of that so all missions should be tied into the competing Factions and NPC corporations.

There's no value in making more PvE a group activity, we have that already. What's needed is to bring an equal measure of Lore and Sandbox into Missions.

Want from missions? How about:

*Missions that feature only a small number of improved rats with a variation on sleeper/incursion AI ,
*Require a point / -warp distuptor/scram module to accept & use the gate to the mission site.
*Randomness in spawns.

Make certain the lvl 1's of this mission type can be run with civilian or very low grade gear.
RvR as per current 1-5's in high, low & npc null.
Offer mission PVE experiences like this in starter systems.
Something along the lines of Incursion scout sites with Agent & gate enforced fitting requirements.
