CCP please make ratting a social activity again.

I don't know about the rest of you but I find PVE content to only be enjoyable with friends. Right now there is little point in ratting with friends because only one person gets the benefit. So for now were forced to tediously rat by ourselves. CCP can you please change it back so that everyone in fleet gets the sec status bonus for killing rats? This current change of only the person who gets the last hit getting the sec status increase is a terrible nerf to the most needy area of the game, low sec. It discourages people from taking low sec jaunts in search of pvp and further helps to depopulate the area.

Please change it back.

It is a social activity. Anti social is still social. Don't complain when your loot gets stolen and you get ganked trying to get it back, you are experiencing social interaction.

The problem is, be careful what you wish for. Most "social" people in EVE aren't exactly the people you want to take home and introduce to your parents.

Not sharing the sec status bonus was recognised as a bug, but I don't recall them fixing it.

Just found this on the April 24 patch notes:

CONCORD and Kill Mails
- Security status gains from NPC kills should once again be awarded to every player involved.
