Faction Ships and the approaching update

On the test server the price of faction ships from the militia loyalty point stores has increased dramatically.

For example frigates have increased from 10k LPs to 40k LP (hookbill, slicer, comet and firetail).

There is some speculation that the price may be on a sliding scale depending upon the success of the particular militia. It looks like an obvious nerf to FW missions (in-line with incursions etc).

I haven't seen a price change in the market yet. I wondered why?

CCP announce their will to make Datacores value be affected by Faction activities, if implemented and extended to all LP store goods then we might think CCP i's finally balancing something.
On the other hand, if this mechanic is instated ASAP without further research etc expect gallente/anmatar goods price go over the roof and caldari/minmatar lp stores the discount stores of Eve.
Since Gallente are just good at gates and station games they will probably loose all their space and pay rent to Serpentis junkeys Lol

The prices on the test server last I checked was 5 datacores for 1 million isk, 1000 LP.

LP may flow like candy after the changes, they may not. But with most datacores under the pre-LP price of 200,000/pu you have to wonder if they plan on slowing down the research rates from the R&D agents?

EDIT: Just got back on test server, same price for datacores and they got rid of the discounts completely. Also, the new FW screen isn't even function so I doubt it will be ready anytime soon if CCP just didn't rush it.

I guess once you have a signature, you cannot have a blank one.
