As a mercenary, you get the job done. That's what you're paid for. That's what really matters.

If you cared about killboard efficiency well, you can just let the enemy smash the pos and as they start leaving gank them when they are at their weakest.

Your fleet is unharmed with a 100% efficiency, the same thing can't be said of your contractor's pos.

If you're hiring a mercenary, would you want to hire one who cares more about his killboard efficiency than the contract itself?

I find it funny how many of the posters are quick to criticize, when they themselves probably have no idea how things work.

I wouldn't care about whatever the mercs do as long as they do the jobs they are paid to do. Seeing how successful Narwhals has been, it will take more than just drama that every corp/alliance faces to change things.

honestly have little/no experience with the DUCKS, but looking at their KB, even though their "efficiency" isn't 80%+ or whatever Internet Lawyer Steve thinks is appropriate, they still look like even when the cards are down, they bring the goodfite. That''s what makes a good merc alliance, the will to bring the goodfite.

They should charge a premium for simply working in wh space. This isn't some dime a dozen high sec merc work. It takes a lot of effort and time to do what they do.

Secondly, even though they are going through some stuff at the moment, I would still recommend them. Keep on keeping on, DUCKS! Pirate

Duckies seem to be having ongoing leadership problems, but they still eagerly throw themselves at fights. Efficiency dipping below 80% doesn't mean much either unless it reaches truly abysmal levels (which 70-ish isn't) and *stays* there in the long term (which a month or two isn't)...

I recently hired them for a contract, in which they completed Fabulously.

Several faction bs and capitals were besieging my system, I knew I needed to call on the best of w-space mercs.

They saved me from having to strike a deal with the attackers whilst I evacuated my assets.

Their FCs was swift in organizing the force needed to defend my wormhole and showed excellent hole control throughout all timezones.

+1 for Narwhals

A member of ABY-S (Lee Vendetta) recently needed assistance in unanchoring a True Sansha Large Control Tower. He requested the assistance of these fine ducks to ensure the POS was secured & scooped without incident.

Sure a an April Rainfall, The ducks showed up to assist him and successfully scooped the tower.

Some unsavory types set up in my WH and started to set up a tower... I looked on the merc channel and found Narwhals contact was online.

After hearing a good reputation about them, I spoke to str3tch2 and Arasiminu who got on the job immediately. They asked for the chain in and started moving fleets before 10 lines of text had scrolled in our chat!

These guys love to pvp, because otherwise why would they jump a ton of guys halfway across highsec for no promise other than shiptypes and a chance at a good fight. A large fleet showed up to save us in less than an hour... I don't need a KB to know that is pro. They also offered us options and advice for full removal, guarding our way out, etc.

If you are in a situation that can give these guys a good fight - unchain the DUCKS and let 'em at what bothers you.

Thanks Arasiminu, str3tch2, and all the DUCKS that showed up so fast!
