i may be jumping the gun but i applied to join Rayn Enterprises and the recruiter Dave Bowman Kanjus said that since my corp was once red to them i had to pay a 250M "security fee" and would get it back in 2 weeks with interest. he also said that i could have my ships sent down without repacking them via jump freighter. he logged off after i finished the convo with him and the jump freighter pilot Vladimir Helios logged on (also the guy i sent the 250m to). i tried contacting him but he rejected my convo invite. was wondering if i really got scammed or i just need to wait longer. also have a screenshot of david saying i would get the 250m back with interest in our chat.

Either this is a really stupid noob, or a **** poor attempt at a troll.

Either way, your ISK/assets = gone.

You needed to wait a little longer, but you may have blown it by posting here and suggesting they might be scammers. You better hope they don't see this.

Post with your monkey.

They offered to pack your stuff and wanted money from you before you even applied? Son, I think you got scammed.

Edit.: but you know it's a good scam if you don't even know if you got scammed or not.

Dude, I knew it was a scam by the end of the first goddamn sentence.

I knew it was a scam before I clicked on the thread.

This morning I awoke with a turgid member, a surefire indicator that a scam was going down. My prophetic pizzle is never wrong.

some advice

(1) assembled ships are moved in carriers, jumpfreighter is for moving (re-)packaged ships

(2) http://wiki.pleaseignore.com/images/2/23/Nynjato%27s_Scamming_Lesson.ogg listen to this

(3) if you have a somewhat active reddit account (before you got scammed) you might have a fighting chance at getting your assets back, otherwise just accept the loss.

If someone asks you for money to join their corporation, even temporarily, they are not worth it.

In addition, it is almost certainly a scam.

you can send ships that will fit in the cargohold assembled as long as u first wrap them in a courier contract and have an actual destination no a POS bubble, and put it in a contract not some bullshit handshake

probably your stuff is gone, dont pay people fees or give them anything in game unless you know them in real life and can do the violence to them IRL if they cross you.

We are our own worst enemy.

Next time just contact me and I haul your stuff, I just generally don't do the whole courier contract to destinations in nullsec, due to the whole pos not being a station thing so your stuck contracting it to me or putting no collateral on it (since it won't technically reach it's destination but you still get it and I be breaking the contract when you break the seal).

And I don't accept courier contracts into null which has collateral as I am expecting you to provide some type of escort and I don't want to take all the risks, beyond that I charge a resonable fee, my corp has been around forever and we are reputable. Just send me a quick item exchange/courier contract and I move it out if you provide escort, if not we can negociate and I can probably get the OK from someone else to move the goods though that will cost more as I may have to pull a few strings depending on the location.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

I've heard that if you send them another 250m, that speeds up the application process.

Oh lawdy lawdy. How a fool and his ISK (+ ships) are parted. This would warm the cold cockles of my heart if I had one.
