Imperial Crusade Logistic Support in Arzad has been compromised

Brave pilots of New Eden,

I'm not sure how deep this infiltration has gone, but I hope that this communicae is secure enough.

I have recently travelled out of the relative safety of High Security, Empire space to bring some equipment to an area where it is needed most, the Faction War regions. I had an escort of a heavily armed warship to protect me from any barbaric attacks upon my peaceful vessel, and the trip went without a problem (Save a few interruptions of some very strange images being transmitted through the neocom). I arrived safely, with my cargo intact, in the Imperial Crusade Logistic Support station in Arzad. It was then that things took a turn for the worse.

I wished to hand these 'Items' over to my escort for safe keeping whilst I intended to travel back to the Empire to bring some more. But as my team were transporting the goods from my hanger to my associate's, tragedy occurred!

I can only speculate what happened and have no evidence, so I will not suggest anything like 'It must have been terrorist Minmatar, look what happens when they take over a system.' or 'Those damn free thinking Gallente think they can just take things without consequence.'

All I know is this, I was rendered unconscious for around 5 minutes, as was my compatriot. My team then returned to tell me that there was an 'issue' while transferring the goods for me. They too were incapacitated and the goods were taken from them.

How can this happen in the safety of such a station. Imperial Crusade Logistic Support. The very name would suggest things like this won't happen. Is this what is to be expected in these low security areas? I was prepared for danger in the black of space. But to have an issue with logistics in a 'Logistic Support' station? Surely some brazen pirate group is behind this all. Taking advantage of the fact that people are in turmoil with the change of occupancy from Amarr to Minmatar and thus sneaking in amongst the chaos.

I have of course reported this to CONCORD and I am hoping they can find the terrible criminals responsible and return my things. I'm sure it is a result of a difficult existence that has lead them to lead such a cold blooded attack on a peaceful pilot like myself, so I don't hope they come to any harm. But a good flogging is definitely in order. A swift kick up the bum.

I just wanted to bring this to your attention so the same may not happen to you. Oh, and if you see any of my items (They'll be the the ones under the camouflage net), then could you kindly return them.

Pilot, I shall keep an eye out. Perhaps if you had used Imperial subjects to transfer these goods, you would have had more luck.

By explicitly stating something you are apparently not suggesting, you are introducing the idea into the mind of your reader and therefor are actually suggesting it. If you don't wish to make brash, racist suggestions, just don't mention them at all.

I know you didn't mean it but I'm still amused.

Mr Galente, perhaps you have been spending too much time reading hidden messages in peoples words. I hope other pilots were able to notice the tongue-in-cheek commentary on this very channel's usual conversation.

For those who are interested, I have had a response from CONCORD, and whilst they have not been able to find the culprits, the items have miraculously reappeared in my hanger. This is very unusual indeed. This seemed to happen immediately following what the Amarr call 'prayer time'. Interesting.

As for retribution for the parties involved, I'm sure some information will come to light soon. Until then I guess I'll just have to get better security, I hear Pandemic Legion are looking for something to do.

I have to admit, it would have been more funny if he had said "I would not suggest anything like 'Yves Quator is trying some petty propaganda on IGS' or 'Yves Quator is having some hidden agenda in this thread.'"

(Edit: my systems seem to be messing up more than I thought)
This is more like it.

On a side note. When I inspected the items that were returned to me, I noticed the hulls were scratched a little. So if anyone knows of someone with a good hand that could fix up the paint jobs, could you get me in contact with them. I can't sell things with imperfections like that.

You could always go to the station mechanics.

I am curious. What sort of peaceful mission is it that moves 'equipment' into a war zone that apparently fears reprisal from Minmatar or Gallente sources? What types of ship hulls would you be importing to a logistics station for the 24th Imperial Crusade?

There are two probable answers to that, your choice of market place and clear ethnic bias suggests that your intent is to supply the local Amarrian forces. The other alternative is simply that you are war profiteering to both sides. And you would describe either as a peaceful mission? Or were you hoping to sell mining barges in a war zone?

Honestly, I don't see the reason for this topic or lady Quator's shock to this happening. Militias are hardly a bastion of honest trade and business.

Flying unescorted in the warzone is considered unwise.

Arzad is unsafe regardless of who controls the system
