Are you sure you added the PLEX to your redeemable items first?

To do so, right click the PLEX in-game in your hanger and there should be button titled "Return to Redeem Items."

The PLEX must be in the redeem items pool to work not in your private hangars

Yeah I was careful enough to redeem them. Whatever the fault was it's sorted now.
