One of the most amazing part of Eve is the big sweeps in power that the badlands have provided. When my corp started we committed to the "Big Blue" experiment to let non-evil builders not breakers enjoy the wonders of 0.0. Later on we doubled down and tried the BRUCE experiment to create something similar. Prior we were part of the goons where they were just finding themselves in Empire and I watched them go from mostly useless in high sec wars to the new uberlords of Eve. So if I learned anything about Eve is it changes no matter what CCP does because the big changes come from the players, not the devs.

Along the way we saw BoB who seemed more "honest" about their intentions to own all of Eve. They ultimately failed from meta-gaming, not in Eve failures, lots of shenanigans followed and fast forward to now. So our "masters" in Eve have come in many forms, our current is definitely not my favorite.

The Goons, the defacto dictators of life in Eve define the nature of Eve. No longer just null, but the whole game. Without doubt the most successful group in Eve history. So is that it, is Eve forever going to be whatever mittnen's latest ego fart declares?

I hope not, I think we are at the very beginning of an Eve inflection point. Many grow weary of trade disruptions, market manipulation and griefing. Not to mention the domination of a part of null that easily can be described as the most wealth producing areas in the 'verse. If history in Eve tells us anything, its that nothing if permanent. So could we be at the beginning of the end of goon dominance?

While the idea of all of highsec driving the goons out of their iron throne seems unlikely, a change seems inevitable!

So I call out to the other alliances and players that would join forces to put another in the iron throne that mittens claims as his for life. I think the time for this is now. Let's come together and find a way to make the goons join the junkpile that BoB and so many other powerblocks have been tossed on. Time for a change! For better or worse we've had enough of goon nonsense.

Let's pull together and make this happen, I'm ready to push the big red button of change in the 'verse. Eve history says its coming, lets make it happen on our terms!

In all seriousness, my guess is goons will eventually get bored with mittani's goonswarm, including himself. They'll implode and reform in some new incarnation; the same basic constituent parts, but arranged differently.

Personally I'm pretty happy right now with the game under an ascendant goonswarm. I'm really enjoying the market terrorism and the exercise of power outside the usual nullsec arena. Mittani's goonswarm has added a whole new set of possibilities to the playbook, and I look forward to seeing what else they will attempt before they grow bored with exercising their superpower status.

Naw, I don't play in other people's manipulations. I just enjoy anything that's new and innovative, especially if it stirs the pot for everyone else.

hey it's issler again with her snout in the wind, making sure to **** in the right direction, remember what happened last time and you had to apologize?
you have a pretty big alliance, you have logistics and ship production, go do something about it, or is this all you do come in post some more batter goon victim drivel.

why don't you collaborate with some some FCs, i heard your fellow csm member aleks karde does that sort of thing, hans jaeger is a seasoned combatant, 2 leaders who knows about war. imagine the damage they can do with a big blob under their command.
make a new alliance, have all the disparate hiseccers join it, setup forums and voice coms and most importantly ship replacement programs, logistics. and blob up under the FCs and go burn vfk?
don't undock until your fleet reaches 5000.
