You play this game with full knowledge that this sort of stuff can happen to you. If it does, it's your own fault for not preventing it. Don't try to play the fecking veteran card. It's not gonna fly.

no ones playing any card, the individuals who got robbed are responsible for their own towers, i stated a fact.

The fact that this guy was able to get away with 15 billion while being within your corp for less than 3 weeks is an indicator that

you should be more careful.

Two things:

1. The first photo doesn't prove that he stole anything, just that he owns some nice stuff.
2. He didn't actually admit stealing anything, only that he wouldn't return what you claim he stole.

Well thats just silly, the only real thing your counter points are lacking is ... "motive" What motive could the person posting these pictures have to "frame" this guy?

It could be anything, but that is not my concern, nor do I care. What I really want to know is, can you actually prove that he stole anything?

So far, there is no proof.

so you want people to wilfully suspect that *just* out of the scroll range of that chatlog screenshot frillo gets all talkative and confused as to why his directors are implicitly accusing him of robbing the corp? that's how an innocent person would have behaved, surely.

whatever. if you really think that's enough doubt/wriggle room for future ceos doing background checks to not reject him out of hand, have fun with that.

our corp in narwhals ate my duck has experienced a theft. not completely unheard of within the eve environment but none the less crucial that we post on here to let future folks know that they are either employing or purchasing a toon that was involved in around 16 billion isk worth of ships going missing for corp sma's.

these ships was owned by 4 people in total and as such will be easily replaced due to the high volume of isk that wormholes can generate.

what disgusts me is the fact that 2 of the pilots who have taken a hit were either in another country fighting the war on terror or are disabled and out of game due to medical reasons. this i find sickening.

frillo didnt steal from duck nor did he steal from pandora sphere, he stole from 4 decent members.

proof that was requested is below. all in all its a good heist but was it rearly worth burning a toon for?

we expect said ships to be replaced within 1-2 weeks.

So in short some dudes going afk for a long time didn't get their assets safe, and you let a new member within 2 weeks have access to all your assets in space.

Good job !

this wasn't a duck nor corp theft as previously stated. it was a member theft. members have a responsibility to ensure towers are locked down however due to some recent moves and changes by other people, it was apparent that an oversight had occurred and that's that.

i'd hardly call a few tengu's and other bits all assets.. well maybe it is for some people

Actually he did admit. When asked to return the ships he said no. So in saying that, he admitted he stole the ships. And when asked why, he said why. Agian admittance to doing so.

There is more to that chat log, this original post to help other CEO's from hiring this char. Now In the theft of all the stuff, most of which was mine (about 10bil). I am not concerned with the theft as I am from helping others to prevent his rehire. This post has gotten way out of hand, this game is set up for stuff like this to happen. Which I fully expect. But also reporting a theft of this kind is to inform others that he is a thief with no loyalitys to no one but himself is also expected. I fully admit that if my tower had been fully protected that this might have not happened. But a thief is a thief and labled as such. So hurray, he stole a bunch of expensive stuff. Who cares, O the next CEO to hire him might...................

As much as spying is a part of the game, this is. Also I have a hard time seeing why this should render his toons worthless, as you'll learn that wh corp infiltration is a profession in eve, and that people might find it hard to feel sorry for people who can make 10b in a couple of days, and still feel they need more..

No one is asking anyone to fell sorry for no one. Go ahead hire this person in your corp. This was to be informative to the next ceo to not hire,,,,

16 billion is a good haul, congratulations for the taker.

The line about the people being stolen from as deployed overseas / disabled making the theft extra-despicable though... if I had a dime for every time a corp theft victim turned out to be a disabled veteran whose only enjoyment in life is Eve Online, I'd have a lot of dimes.

Isn't it funny how corp thieves, not really targeting individuals specifically, always manage to rob the one guy in the corp who has a tear-jerking, heart-wrenching disability that should make the thief feel terrible for robbing him?

When you think about it...

corp thieft is a form of pvp if done right.

player vs and entire corp and its security.

I used to think that running static plex's back inthe day wasnt pvp till i started logging in after dt and racing everyoen to the prize.

dont forget everyone eve online is a pvp game.

To the op. 16b isk can be made back with ease.
sorry for your loss

Guys: it's no big deal. Thefts happen daily in EVE; it's just a part of the game.

For example: Here's a corp member killing another corp member's hauler.

http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=13298901

And here's some pictures of Loci Monster (CEO of RND's alt) assisting Lee Vendetta steal a True Sansha Large tower from his corp. http://s1148.photobucket.com/albums/o580/moelesture/Lee%20stealing%20the%20tower/

It's just internet pixels guys...
