Out of pure curiosity:

1. Do you personally like or dislike the increase in mineral and follow-up costs and why?
2. What is/are your profession(s) in Eve?
3. Do you feel you gained or lost from the change?
4. How long did you play?
5. How many accounts do you have?
6. What sec status systems do you mostly live in?

Hasn't effected me yet. I'm not a miner, and I haven't made any recent large purchases.

Something clever

Hello butterface is there anyway that you post a picture of a full length shot of yourself as it always gives me the weirdest boner

1. Do you personally like or dislike the increase in mineral and followi-up costs and why?

I dont really mind the changes as i fly mostly faction ships and that is not overly affected by mineral or tech prices

2. What is/are your profession(s) in Eve?

Lowsec anoms/radar/Mag sites with opportunistic pvp on occasions

3. Do you feel you gained or lost from the change?

I have not gained or lost a thing

4. How long did you play?

Just over two years

5. How many accounts do you have?

I have four permanent accounts but i only sub the accounts as i need them. Normally its just this one.

6. What sec status systems do you mostly live in?

0.4-0.1 with occasional trips to 0.0. I get into hisec occasionally but after spending a few weeks in lowsec its a bit freaky flying into Jita/Amarr as you are constantly thinking that everyone on grid is about to shoot you

Hope this helps :)
I dont normally troll, but when i do i do it on General Discussion.

Doesn't affect me at all. What little mining I do is to build the ships I need or my alliance needs. I can sell said ships for more isk, and there really is no shortage of minerals in nullsec.

Technetium prices, on the other hand...

1. I like the increase. It raises the cost of doing suicide ganks for those who do it for profit so they have to go after bigger scores to make ISK. I also make more ISK doing the things I do in game and it has made the faction mods/ammo I sell more attractive.
2. I mission run, mine, ice mine, gas mine, explore, do some production, buy low sell high on the market and datacore research(coming to an end if the changes go through)
3. Gained
4. Started in may of 2005 and have taken several breaks during that time. I would say I have played a little over four years using several different accounts.
5. I only have one account active at a time. Perramas is my main account with all the mining, research and exploration skills trained.
6. High sec with an occasional run into wormholes and lol sec

1. Do you personally like or dislike the increase in mineral and follow-up costs and why?
I am still undecided...but I get the impression that the increased mineral prices haven't affected my profits very much.
2. What is/are your profession(s) in Eve?
Invention/manufacturing + occasional pewpew
3. Do you feel you gained or lost from the change?
See 1.
4. How long did you play?
Several years, with some larger breaks in between
5. How many accounts do you have?
only this one
6. What sec status systems do you mostly live in?
either highsec or wormholes

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

1. Like. I got a bit bitten by the morphite speculation, but it's such a small part of the final price that it'll be lost in the markup.
2. Just about everything except nullsec warfare.
3. Gained… a lot.
4. 4½ years
5. According to the forums, roughly 800 to account for all the people who I'm an alt to and who are supposed to be alts to me… Lol
6. High and low.

1. Neither. I would probably enjoy it to some degree while making ISK off it if I were, but I am not. If I were on the other end of that and buying ships at inflated prices, then I suppose the opposite would be true; particularly if I were losing them.

2. Market Watcher, Forum Poster, Speculator, Purveyor of Fine Antiquities, and above all and foremost, NPC. j/k I don't really know. I train skills and watch things happen, and occaisionally comment on it here in the forums.

On my Alt, I train skills and consider the benefits and pitfalls of suicide ganking someone and measure my readiness for that scenario or PvP in general. So far I have not concluded that my skillset is such that I am ready, or that I really want to gank some poor hapless miners.

3. Lost definitely. I could have made a pile of ISK on it if I had the initial capital and invested it properly. Theoretically, I could still do the same now, to a lesser degree but it is much more risky. Actually it was risky then because it was purely speculation and I couldn't have predicted this level of inflation. It is the first time it has ever happened in EVE to the best of my knowledge. The market crash is going to be horrendous afterwards.

On the plus side, it is a great time to be a successful miner if you are one.

4. ~5-1/2 years.

5. Currently two, but at one time as many as 6 or 7. Technically 8 or 9 with 6 or 7 that have been let go for various reasons; one of which being that it may have been to easy to guess the account names.

6. Currently Highsec. Once Wormholes with travel to and from through Low/Null.

1. Do you personally like or dislike the increase in mineral and follow-up costs and why?

Don't really care, I'll adjust and the biggest thing I fly on the reg is also one of the cheapest battleships.

2. What is/are your profession(s) in Eve?

Mission, low-sec exploration, sometimes null-sec ratting, basically just derping around.

3. Do you feel you gained or lost from the change?

Made a bit off of nocx, waiting for mega to (hopefully) spike, otherwise see #1.

4. How long did you play?

A month or two over a year.

5. How many accounts do you have?

One right now, used to have two before my kid arrived.

6. What sec status systems do you mostly live in?

High mostly, with a low-sec home and a null-sec on the way.

A professional astro-bastard was not available so they sent me.

1. Do you personally like or dislike the increase in mineral and follow-up costs and why?
I liked it, because I bought a bunch of minerals at low price and dumped most of them before they tanked.

2. What is/are your profession(s) in Eve?
A bit of all but mostly trading, exploration, research, missions (on various accounts).

3. Do you feel you gained or lost from the change?
The green numbers say I gained. I also gained with mining related ships sales since I basically doubled the revenue for BPC kits and similar.

4. How long did you play?
Since end of 2008.

5. How many accounts do you have?
4 + 1 not subbed ATM.

6. What sec status systems do you mostly live in?
I live where there's ISK or fun (or both) to be made.
When I REALLY want to take a well deserved vacation I go in 0.2 sec where neither hi sec Pee V Pee lol-heroes nor 0.0 moon lord servants will come. I don't feel too much returning in WHs because exploration makes me scan enough as is.

1. Do you personally like or dislike the increase in mineral and follow-up costs and why?

I like it. For no other reason that observing a dynamic market controlled by the players.

2. What is/are your profession(s) in Eve?

I feel like I have gained something. Nothing material just an inner joy c:

Three

What did we learn from this!

how I can dislike or like the normal, natural changes in a sandbox?

1: I like the increase in mineral prices, although not enough for me to even consider mining again, as I'm making Isk from them.
2: Missioner/trader/slave to paying with Isk, basically anything I can make a profit on
3: I've definitely gained, by how much is yet to be determined.
4: Been playing coming up on 3 years
5: Formerly 4, currently 1, unsubbed the others after the Incarna debacle
6: These days mostly hisec, formerly a mainly WH resident. Having local was really strange for a while after living in a WH for months on end.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

In a sandbox with myriads of rules set in ferroconcrete, liking or disliking changes of said rules should prove to be pretty simple.

1) don't really care. Yes things are more expensive, but I make enough to do what I like

2) mostly vulture (loot after ganks or war attacks that I am not a part of). I enjoy it, nice amount of risk, and entertaining. When I'm bored of that I mission run. When that gets boring, I mine (actively, I don't play afk). Then I log off trying not to lose my sanity.

3) not sure yet. Frig prices haven't gone up too much. And module prices have also gone up, so if my take from dead folks is enough I'll be fine.

4) two years since I started, not sure an my actual subbed time...

5) only 1

6) I live in HS, work in whs, and vacation (read as die) in lowsec. Generally don't live long enough to make it to NPC null, and have no desire to get to player null.

1. Do you personally like or dislike the increase in mineral and follow-up costs and why?

I like the higher prices of ships, personally I think it's interesting and makes ships more valuable, but there are already (apparently) a bunch of players with 100 bill+, they're not the ones who are really feeling the crunch.

Basically, I like it, but I worry for newer, "unhelped" players. I understand the prices were higher once before, but back then more people were closer to the same economic level.

2. What is/are your profession(s) in Eve? Noob.

3. Do you feel you gained or lost from the change? Definitely lost, but its not a big deal.

4. How long did you play? Eight months now, I think? Was a miner, deleted character, and this char has been around for like 4 months I think.

5. How many accounts do you have? 1

6. What sec status systems do you mostly live in? High and low, want to move to null or WH
