Chinese network or ADSL IP is change it because your IP once and hackers all your paying customers should be of BAN?
You query the time of the players online is not the same hackers do?
Recently, because of IP issues of BAN.SadSad

Do you know how VPNs work? Basically, they convince the server you are connecting to that you are elsewhere by replacing your real IP with someone else's. Every time you use one, its a new IP. If you happen to land on an IP that CCP has banned through awful luck, you get flagged as an account being accessed by a known hacker / offender, and will get added to the ban list as a result.


You have no idea what a VPN is please don't mislead people into false information about something you could at least bother searching on the web to learn a bit more about it.

VPN's are virtual private networks, that create networks inside networks and encapsulate traffic for a multitude of reasons but mostly for added security or circumvent restrictions the network you are using imposes.

If several people do use the same VPN end point, yes, if that endpoint connects to EvE server all people using it will show up as the same IP, it's a risk you are willing to take by using such service.

And btw, most of the VPN used by chinese have the sole purpose of bypassing censorship not to play games (altough some games might be censored and they used them to play it anyway)

if you require a little more information about VPN's please refer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vpn but I'm sure google has more in depth articles about it.

If you can't play without a VPN in China it's not CCP fault it's the chinese government fault and everything your government do is accepted by the chinese people so if you want more freedom on the internet you should ask your government not CCP.

If you want more freedom go in the street and ask your government for it.

If you feel everything is OK in China then shut up and play a boring chinese game.

If CCP uses IP addresses for identification, that is borderline stupid. Most services in Europe at least use dynamic IP addresses for allocation with DSL lines. In Germany for instance it is the default to get a different IP with every PPPoE connect since it is basically PPP. An IP address is not suitable to identify a person or even a computer system.

Many people here talking about using an IP for identification are probably from the US, which often uses weird cable connections with static IPs. Just to remind you that is NOT a default behaviour in pretty much the rest of the world and for good reasons too. NAT is pretty common in places like asia which is restricted on IPv4 (since they were last to join the internet club).

Personally i can't believe CCP will ever decide to ban a person just based on an IP address, because that would be foolish. It might be a small factor in several other indications however.

I played a few months on serenity with a few fellows of failheap. Judging from what i saw there, it is not hard to believe that some people who migrated here might clash with some different rules and mindets.

Dynamic is not the same as random. CCP will not only ban single IP addresses, but they are banning entire subnets. This is not stupid. It is common practise, you only did not know it yet.

China has a known problem with gold farming, even using prisoners to do so. It's too bad that some innocent players trying to circumvent absurd Chinese censorship got banned, but it's not CCP being racist or discriminatory. Just look at the insane BS Google had to deal with to be in China, and try to understand how companies have to compromise ideal service to have any service at all. Gather proof and elevate the petition if possible, but you're just going to get banned again through bad luck eventually.

If you really want your Chinese friends to play Eve freely, tell them to do something about their autocratic government first.

You dont get banned unless you pay for it. Good method for CCP to make more money, their GM plays God Roles in game.

Yes, EVE is a good game, but it is going down now since you ruins the ingame economy but focus how to make more realy

money. Who is the largest RMT group, the one who offers you realy money tradable items---Cash Caps P**sy.

Take a look that how many their original eployees have left. I believe at the beginning they were trying to make a spcial art to the

game world, but now it is a big company. Don't you forget that, the only purpose of a company is " Profit".
