Why do people post crap like this?!?!! If OP is so butthurt, maybe he should just go back to high sec mining in his Badger...

The more important question is: Does anyone bother reading that crap?

Jesus Christ, we all know that people in the militia are fat cats so why all this drama over a freaking Cheetah. PL blew up the jumpfreighter of that poor guy that did their POS refueling and you dont see him shiptoasting on the forums about it?

Also about engaging neutrals, just do it if you dont mind the sec los. There is no way I´d point some neutral dude and then ask in militia channel if he is an alt.Ugh

Am I the only one wondering how a Cheetah loss can generate this much rage?

Who can't replace a covert ops and more importantly why fly (or for that matter idle on a gate) a ship in low sec which you can't afford to replace?

Has everyone forgotten about the basic rules of thumb in this game?

Shocked

The issue here was - a militia corp that doesnt participate in fleets or contribute to fw and is in fw pureley to farm missions and therefore wasnt kept in the loop about who are blue alts shot a freindly - no big deal here - then replied '**** off'' in local when called an idiot and told to replace the ship- again no big deal --

to then start behaving like a bunch of babies - starting a forum thread to have a cry, drag up long and dull logs and at the same time expose the identity of a militia alt corp for all of eve to have a look at just cos they can't farm fw missions.

really they need to man up - do their fighting in space not on the forums

no one outside fw cares about you getting wd'ed, no one cares about this forum thread, no one cares about a neut alt getting shot by mistake. wow this is dull,

tbh if wd'ing fw corps that only really join fw to farm missions can create this much emo - i might start making a list and wd all of the corps who dont get more than a handful of kills each month and camp the mission hubs-

prepare for forum emo rage madness.......

well deal with your disputes internally. be responsible you are running a corp. why drag everybody with you?
still trying to figure out the point of this forum post. there is a reason you have access to convoes. not to put them on posts.

so now instead of resolving the issues, you just gave away the name of 1 of the neutral scouts. seriously awesome.

and by the way your intentions were to make all the other fw corp alienate gunny's corp? still trying to make sense to it all...

Friendly fire is a fact of life if you use neutral alts. I admit I didn't bother to read the convo and frankly I think it's irrelevant. If you use a neutral alt, you must ensure everyone knows it and even then you need to be cautious. When someone takes a shot at one that's in their own fleet, yeah, it's a problem and the same is true if they've flown with that alt repeatedly and it was in a prominent position (ie a fleet booster alt used nearly every day). But just a random cov ops sitting on a gate is generally considered fair game. There really isn't any way to tell if it's friendly, enemy or just a neutral on a joy ride.

The appropriate response is for the owner to inform you it was a friendly alt and ask you to blue it. At which point you should apologize, state you didn't know and mark it as a light blue or something so it doesn't happen again. You should also offer the loot/salvage from the wreck as partial compensation. The apology and loot returning is not an admission you did anything wrong, it's to state that you didn't knowingly attack a friendly and to maintain good relations. I also advise against posting on the forums about it, it can only make things worse.

It's only a WD. /shrug. OP should stop crying. The emo faction neutral should grow some and realize they were neutral. Coordinating status with a bunch of unknowns is ... well ... not everybody is going to get the email or even read it.

It's not like you're in a PvE corp ... right? So you get more reds to shoot. Who cares?

The only downside is that decking a fellow faction corporation weakens your side when it comes to operations and roams. But since you are Caldari ... who cares!

So much drama in the Caldari militia - no wonder you guys are getting smashed... Minnies lost an Archon to PL trying to get them to hot drop on the Amarr militia and I haven't heard them crying like this...

P.S. Getting killed by the guys you were trying to get to do your dirty work - Priceless...

All OP had to do was ask in militia channel if neut belonged to anybody, if after 30 seconds there's no answer then it's usually fair game. Assuming said neut hangs about for that long of course.

Also, fail on the part of the Cheetah pilot. Fancy letting militia guys get you... a cov-ops should be next to impossible to catch, consider fitting a cloak next time? Roll

The Gaming MoD - retro to modern, console to MMO, I blog about it if it's a game and I'm interested in it. Yes, I play games other than Eve and I don't care if you think I'm wrong.

Oh yes drama. Good as long as u can jerk to it. And secondly oh yes, this game does attract the mentally unstable types. I barely escaped the facility.....

lol, just lol.

If this is what you call a drama then just lol.

Least of your problems is losing a neutral scout due to [insert reason here] how about you spend your time trying to get yourselves organised rather than bickering over jack ****.

You all need your heads banging together tbh and given detention...........

Come now, dont be harsh Gal... Sitting on a gate with a neutral alt uncloaked is a mistake anybody can make. Also, we all know cov ops are expensive these days and its not like Cal Mil have an easy income source what with FW missions being as difficult as they are...

OP... as a general rule of thumb... try not to engage neutral ships unless you are prepared to a shitstorm of drama (i.e. a war dec) as almost every good militia corp (be it friendly or enemy) has a neutral alt flying about somewhere in the warzone.

Also... stop trying to make yourself out to be the morally superior one here. You killed a neutral... which means you GCCed... on a hunch no doubt. For all you knew... it could have been some random passerby who wanted to see what was happening. Either reimburse the man or point a gun at him.
