I have 2 accounts, I plan to train all 6 characters to level 5's in planetary interaction.
My end-goal is to produce integrity response drones with a near-complete vertical integration. I might just purchase the silicon and oxidizing compound as they are hard to find.

In order to sustain a single factory producing integrity response drones:
how many of each type of raw materials must I be extracting per 15 minute cycle? per hour?
how many fully supplied basic industrial facilities must I be running to produce processed materials?
How many fully supplied advanced industry facilities must I be running to produce refined commodities?
How many fully supplied advanced industry faciltiies must I be running to produce specialized commodities?

I've studied the EVE Planetary Interaction diagrams (the .pdf one). I think the answers to these questions are
12000 per cycle, 48000 per hour

It is not correct. You need to extract 24.000 units per hour to supply 1 P4 Faqctory.

18xECU (24.000 units) R0
18x4 (160 units) P1
9x4 (20 units) P2
3x2 (6 units) P3
1x (1 unit) P4

I would not advise doing this in HighSec.

Actually I think you are not correct either. What?

You need (only counting the most basic components):

  • 48,000 Noble gas
  • 48,000 Carbon Compounds
  • 48,000 Noble Metals
  • 48,000 suspended Plasma
  • 48,000 Planktic Colonies
  • 48,000 Non-CS Crystal
  • 24,000 Reactive Gas
  • 24,000 Aqueous Liquid
  • 24,000 Autotrophs
  • 24,000 Micro Organisms
  • 24,000 base Metals
  • 24,000 Felsic Magma


Just to produce 1 unit of Integrity Reponse Drones

If you want more details, I would advise you to try the Planetary Planner tool.
It will give you exact number of what you need for how much you want to produce.

Also worth bearing in mind that not all pi raws will mine at the same rate even with the same level on the scanner showing the same levels (maybe high level skilled scanners will show something dif but not going to waste weeks training for that)

EveHQ's PI planner was decent at planning out these sort of things.....

Sorry to barge in,

I have just setup a 5 factory setup. I have CCU4 and have 4 extracting planets. Each with 2 ECU,4 BIFs and an LP. It extracts one of each p1 material.

I will then haul this to my factory planet

Same as the (the barren p2/p3) 18 AIFs

I drop 2 lots of p1 into the upper making Mechanical parts. And the lower produces CEs

I have the entire middle group of 6 AIFs making the robotics. Is this too many? Do I need to remove 2 factories from the middle? Or is 2:1 ok??
