Steam overlay no longer loads ...

Been using steam overlay with eve (also own eve with steam). Ever since CCP started using the new patcher, it never loads the overlay anymore. I wanted to take more screenshots with steam, but i couldn't.

Reason I use steam screenshots is because it can upload to my account and I can instantly link it to someone when needed. I tried few methods, especially like only show patcher when there is an update. Help please :(
