New Inventory Suggestion

I open the new inventory. I shift-click "ships" or "items" or "current ship's cargo." I get a new window. I should be able to pin this window as a shortcut to neocom. This would make the new inventory extremely powerful and customizable rather than vexing. Also, I should be able to click and drag to break a windowed view off, rather than only being able to achieve that behavior through shift-clicking. This would make the UI more intuitive, which is always good.

I really, really like this idea.

I have another suggestion for the new inventory - allow us to half-way collapse the tree view so we only see icons, mouse-over should show the name as a tooltip. This saves a bunch of screen real-estate while still allowing you to navigate the tree.
