I'm curious if this will be the same Pax Ammaria item that is already available in game? Or will this be a special signed copy?!

I'm not Amarr so I don't think I'll be getting one.

If you look closely the name is different than the one in game.

The one listed as a gift is "Pax Ammaria" but the one in game is "Pax Amarria".

This could be a typo, or it could be intentional. If intentional I am hoping it is a Minmatar parody. Still more information would definately be appreciated.

"Pax Amarria" already exists ingame; "Pax Ammaria" is a new collectors' item Smile

Is it an Ammatar version of the book?

It'll be explained later on in the week Smile

[speculation start]

Pax Ammaria contains riddles which, when solved, reveal to you the location of hidden (wormhole) system where a secret Ammarian religious base is located. At this site the Ammarian zealots have been researching ancient sleeper and terran artifacts for the last 9 years. They're running low on resources and so they are now willing to sell some new Tech 3 module BPCs for hefty sums of ISK to those capsuleers that are able to find the site.

The location will be accessible with the Inferno release.

Minmatar pilots will be shot when entering this hidden system.

[speculation end]

or it could be just a propaganda book with no real value... we'll see it in couple days...

Actually it wasn't, it was a mistake by the scribe that wrote it. Didn't you read the Chronicle?

Wonder if owning one will subject you to random attacks by Amarrian ships. Would be rather amusing I think.

Reminds me of a certain U.S. government form a lot of employers were waiting for. The Federal agency took public comments on the form for 90 days. Then they revised and re-revised drafts for months. Finally the long-awaited form wass printed en masse by the Government Printing Office and released to the public. It leads off with "Pursuant to Pubic Law No. 13-102...."

So by owning a copy of the "Pax Ammarria" we risk our deaths plus the deaths of anyone in near proximity to the book? I can see the sequel now, Fahrenheit 451: Orbital Bombardment...

Funny detail though, if you look up the "Pax Ammaria" in-game (it is there) the graphic icon still reads "PAX AMARRIA"
At least they could have added that little detail.
But the question remains, will owning one decrease standing with the Amarr when thy find out you have it, (and by extension increase your standing with other factions)?
