As the op says. I've been sarching th market and the only pants I find are the commando pants.
Am I supposed to wear commando pants with a navy jacket?

I have a similar problem with pants. My wife buys my clothes and they never match. Also, what she thinks is 'cool' doesn't match what I like.

This really bothered me too. Need more pant options, I would also like some different shoes, possibly oxblood.

Count your blessings with those faction and navy pants. With the current prices on market, if T2 pants come into fashion, they would probably be worth more than a fully fitted Strategic Cruiser.
