Wormholes

I need some advice on a good progression path for manufacturing and industry in a wormhole.

Ideally I'd like to be able to give a newbie a path they can take if they want to do industry in a wormhole in a way that can make them a profit continuously while slowly increasing the complexity of how they utllize the facilities at an indie POS and in a way that will take advantage of the resources of the wormhole.

They will be starting out in a C2-C3 and then moving to a C5 fairly quickly. Also, ideally, this would lead them eventually into T3 production near the "endgame".

Anecdotes, guides, skill plans, advice are all welcome.

Right now, I'd like to be able to lay out the path for industry minded newer players and at least give them something to do and progress upon if that is what they would like to focus on as well as be able to build the infrastructure for them to be able to keep progressing.

The potential dangers of doing it in a C5 will be dealt with when it actually seems like a realistic problem but for right now that is far in the future and I am more interested in the path and giving them something to do along the way.

Both a C3 and a C5 are available.

Suggestions as to where to do it are actually not that helpful. I'm more interested in the how and activities that can be accomplished while working towards it.

thought i would attually try to be helpful.

you could start with pi 4 in all skills except advanced planetlogy and remote sensing 3 in them will be fine you can then make your pos fuel and other stuff (like rocket fuel that will help later) your probably looking at 14 to 20 days for that i guess.

From there you could look at making some ammo (since your guys in starbridge love tengus) go for missiles you'll want a ammo array and you can start building your t1 missiles.

add a lab to yoru pos and you can then start to research and copy your bpo's and then invent off them to get bpc's for t2 missiles.
not sure exacly who long for decent skills to do taht but probably not long.

once you have your t2 misiles bpc you can build them using your rocket fuel you are hopefully making from pi all you will need to haul in is a small amount of moon reaction stuff (you could build that as well i guess but i never bothered)

the missiles will make you a reasonable amount of profit (assuming you arent using them yourself to blow crap up)

from there you could branch out to gas reactions to start making the polymers you need (no skills needed just a pos with alot of spare cpu).

assuming you want to stick to wh stuff you'd probably be after t3 subs so you would want. could be wrong here.

all the sub system skills (the science ones not the ones to fly the t3's) then plasma physics, electronic engineering, rocket science, high energy physics, nanite engineering might be 1 or 2 i have forgot. you can do these to 4 but 5 is better .

you'll now need a experimental lab on your pos and assuming you want to make the subsystems a sub system assembly array.

you'll also have to make some the components for the subs and later the hull (not sure whats hneeded for them but if you can make the subs you can probably make the parts) this will need the polymers you have hopefully already made and some sleeper salvage.

guess the end game for wh manufacture being the t3 hulls will mean you want racial starship engineering skill to 5 (you'll probably want caldari) cuiser constrution 5 , and a medium ship assembly array i think to build them in(i think)

ooh left out gas harvesting 5 which is probably easiest isk you will ever make, espeically in a c5 sucking vital and instrumental sites if you have a few friends who can clear it for you

As stated above: PI, invention, hybrid reactions, reverse engineering and production are all valid in a wh. All of these will require a decent amount of hauling with regular access to highsec. Any production above ammo, fuel or mods should really be done in highsec. T3 production is out of the question due to fitting issues.
