It is less time consuming if you just stop sending Alliance mails than to try and find the spy, just saying.

PS: I still do not understand the big deal about this?

The website could use some better usability. The alliance ticker list should be in some sort of order. And the pages with the messages themselves should indicate which alliance/corp they went out to.

did it occur to anybody else that whoever is running this site has the corp mails for all the fools sending these apis in

So the director system is broken and now the mails. and where are corp interface and functions and roles on the list of things to do? Years??? Inventory system is a start. I imagine the code is old twisted and tangled on the corp function but this API mail stuff can be plugged easily. Whats it used for anyhow? Showing your mails on the forum, maybe broken eve gate?

Easy fix, no important losses.

This is what I use for anything that needs to be secure.

Hushmail

probaably a lot of other solutions out there. in game is broke, why not just go google+ for all comms, use circles google docs drive calendar they got voice and video. we can get rid of this crappy forum and its moderators too.

Agreed... however there is an order, it sorts by alliance ID :) lol i know... that's not usable... but we'll figure something out in the future.

Just start encrypting all alliance mails with AES (nice web service: https://encipher.it/ ) and nobody can read them (without knowing password).

Conspiracy theory says that EveSkunk is only posting mails from alliances that they want to (or, more specifically, hiding some alliances that they don't want to leak alliance mails from).

Wow, this thread is full of so much fail it's not even funny.

People getting so mad at something so easily countered. Post private crap on your alliance forums that only your members have logins to, then just link the post in your alliance mail.

If your members are being given confidential information which they're copy-pasting onto some other public website, then you need to take a look at who you're trusting and what information you're giving out.

ORDER BY allianceName ASC?

Current sort method sucks. Sad pretty minor fix.

Ctrl-F, Type Alliance Name

....

TBH

I just need to rewrite the script a little so that it looks up the alliance name before it puts it into the database. Right now, I'm just taking the data from the api, the ToCorpOrAlliance field, and that's a numeric identifier. So to be quite honest, I'm already sorting it ascending, just by the numeric ID rather than the name. We'll rewrite it hopefully and it'll be nicer.

well , you did not explain how it is possible for me to get the valid api of a member of an allianz, that posted on eveskunk.
and you can test the member i call.
1.you can revoke his rights to read allianz mails(i did not know if it is possible) or you can use his api so often that eveskunk cannot use it.
2.send testmail
3. oh wow no alli mails posted on eve skunk.

it simplyfies the tests :)

No, you can't. You do not know the API that is being used to extract alliance mails. That person you grabbed and claimed he was the spy? You have no proof whatsoever that he or someone else was the one that submitted it. That's the whole point of the website. I'm good at what I do in the game so I'm able to get craploads of API's from people who checkboxed every option. Know what I did with them? I submitted them all to eveskunk :)
