Exactly! So when excactly are all the miners and industrialists getting T3 barges, and T3 transports, and T3 support vessels so they can adapt as well?
Oh we're not coz that would make all the gankers whine and we can't have that can we.

I'm not entirely sure you'd be happy with ships with less tank and more cargo or minerals/cycle if you're already getting harassed by suicide gankers.

Who say's this would apply to T3 mining barges? Tornados now are able to deliver damage like a battleship, but have far less tanking capabilities.
A T3 Hulkster could have less mining yield per cycle with a much better tank, or completely new modules like a ship signature projector - you see 5 ships, but 4 of them are fakes. There is so many room for new ideas ...
