Basicly all the point you posted shows im right.
You can try disagree with me only the more you do the more you basicly proof im right.

The alliance "tournament" is a fake tournament where the older players have a skillpoint advantage and its not about who is the better team.

The only way to proof me wrong is using a team of 6 months old characters (which is also a decent amount of playtime) and get to the finals or beat a team of way older characters in a just as organized team.

If you don't have the skills in the game you shouldn't have them in AT. It is a showcase of what your alliance is capable of. If your alliance doesn't have medium to high sp players, or players who can focus on a few selected ships and become good at those ships, then sucks to be you and your crappy alliance.

Spending 60 billion or so to match some players their skillpoints is a bit to much.

It's fairly likely that CCP will not allow Hydra or Outbreak's names to be "randomly" chosen, if they buy their way into the tournament, then CCP's new "Ban anybody we like, for no reason that we need state" rule will see them removed from the tournament.

Your 60 billion ISK therefore would not necessarily be a total waste, one only needs to get past Darkside alliance once you've spent it, but even getting 2nd place would easily get you many times what you spent.

ATX: The best of the rest.

Pro post. I completely agree. Also I flew last year with 10 mill sp and my team made top 16.
