NO WAY , the new hound is the best looking ship in the whole game.

And if you think otherwise, congrats! You just figured out you think your the center of the universe!

This is like people hating on the tempest, it's an awesome ship as well. It's personal taste stop acting all high mighty you smug self centered brat.

but hey the new nemesis looks nice.. just PLEASE CCP, i want my nemesis to transform from the fatman into this badass form when i hit the MWD. oh and a skull and crossbones on a wing. Macross Valkyries ftw

I'll keep flying and adoring them, but strictly from an aesthetic, subjective, lore loving point of view:

1) The Hound isn't rusty/frail enough. It has now lost the Minmatar touch, and got a weird "solid" look, that's contrary to the "in rust we trust" theme I always liked of the republic bros. Also, solar sails seem dulled down from squarely utilitaristic to ethereally cosmetic.

2) The Purifier is... Don't know. Sort of like it, even if the glory days of the golden fleet (in Inferno, it will become the light brown fleet) are clearly past us. Some fool asked for less gold and less chisel work on Amarr hull: it borders blasphemy. Ah, these kids and their disturbing lack of faith...

3) The Manticore: omg, no, please... Caldari is all about 60' angles, prodtruding structures, asymmetry to the extreme. What is this Gundamish (I love Gundam, but, meh!) anime gouged, sleek, ROUND dogfighter? Round edges in my Caldari? Ok, another unique touch lost forever to the Anime God to please WOW players... *sigh*

Last but not least, my own race bomber:

4) The Nemesis.

C'mon, the FatMan (if you have to ask what it is, you should seriously consider uninstalling the game) is such a distinctive Gallente ship! You cannot maim it (him?) like that, only to please the gloating crowds who're salivating at its admittedly uber cool but also totally OUT OF PLACE shape and pattern.

It's squareish, it's so dark, you can't even imagine that armor is Crystalline Carbonide anymore or that shade of gloomy swamp green is the once glorious Duvolle Lab yellow trim (I can rant for hours about how the Art Dept darkened to hell and back the Kronos, the Arazu, the Viator, ecc. and how Duvolle light color theme has been blended in the general dark, uniform hue that covers most ships of V3).

I know, I know, they look good. And I agree.

But they don't look in line with lore, with the style of the four races, with the color uniqueness all T2 ships should show. They are all homogeinized, in shape (generally roundish/sleekish) and color (dark, brown, dull).

I will deal with it - so I won't look like just another whiny vitterbet! But I'm very disappointed and I will still miss the unique look of EVE ships, and I'm ready for a wave of anime ships to please new players and accomodate the huge torpedo launchers and bomb devices on these hulls.

That isn't the real texture or the final model dumbass. Read the video description next time.

Woow, that is really bad ass. Great looking ship! For me the Nemesis is by far the coolest, and sure its dark but its a stealth bomber so that kind of make sense. I also love the alien high tech look of it, ok here is my list:

1.Nemesis, most bad ass bomber seen in any sci-fi game!
2.Manticore, good looking especially from the rear
3.Purifier, I mean see the pic above, he means buisness
4. Hound, doesen´t look like a stealth bomber at all.

Nemesis is badass.

Does the nemesis still have the duvolle colour scheme + logo on it? the colour scheme update was one of my favourite things about crucible as I spend a lot... and I mean a LOT of time in a nemesis.

Yeah, the 'pausing to look all badass' would just be in my head really....
