No kidding, especially considering you could always just UNDOCK and spin away.

Total waste of time, worse giving into something that doesn't make sense from a Product Management perspective is a bad sign in the big picture, it indicates the company doesn't have a clear design direction.

Yes this is a good thing. And before you flame away - the people who care, post. The people who don't, don't.

Enough people found this important enough to raise some "rabble" about it and thus it has some value.

Unlike your post which has zero value. Or zero use. Or content. Or....anything.

Move along now. The rest of the community cares enough to try and better this game.

Aaaaaaand relax.

Improving the game is not a waste of time.

Agreed. If they had any sense of direction, they wouldn't have made the game worse by removing it to begin with.

Ship spinning \o/ yay for player feedback power, even more yay for my GFX card no longer running at temperatures more akin to a nuclear reactor Big smile

Job well done CCP, shouldn't have been removed in the first place but hindsight is an exact science.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I would say thanks CCP, but I can't give thanks for returning something that was taken away. I'm bitter.

however I can say Good Job returning the hangar with the overdue cosmetic upgrades to it. I'm spinning in the Amarr one right now, I like. Smile

I took this picture of my happy Panda. I keep telling him that "Getting Jiggy With It" is soooo fail 90's... but he just keeps on dancing.

I guess he really thought that ship spinning was important to the game.
& I tend to agree with him...

I wouldn't expect you to understand. Joining three months ago puts you right around the launch of Incarna.

Like a shot of morphine when I spun my ship but a moment ago on Sisi. The new font is the absolute sex, finally I can read it on a 1920x1200 resolution without squinting or squashing my nose against the screen. It might not be pretty, but I can read it so so easily, it's fantastic.

I'm fairly new to this game and I've always wondered what the hype was about with ship spinning...
Of course, I'd be hyped too if it was along the lines of literal evasive maneuvering (there's already a skill called Ev. Mn. and it does not do what I am visualizing; what I'm trying to get at is if the ships could actually spin sideways and up & down during flight), as I believe it would make the game more dynamic - in pvp, especially.

Although.. after reading about this thread and deciding to join the S.S. parade, I was disillusioned by what I saw on youtube.

Still, this "ship spinning" does seem pretty neat.

One thing that intimidates me is not being able to understand what I should be able to understand - or at least, people telling me what I can or cannot understand.

stop buying ATI.

Fixed that for you...and really...if your VCard burned out from WiS then it was time to upgrade anyway.

True and false...

i personally run on ATI 4870x2 bought when it was on market... mistake on my part... ATI are more powerfull however only in certein enviroment up to ATI specifics ... for nitpickers ATI/AMD

If GPU burned on WiS then there could be many reasons why.. not that card needed to be changed to "newer one" but f.e. airflow in case/ too much dust on GPU fan etc.
And last edit.. i guess most of the problem was for notebook owners so my or others point of upgrade, check is pretty moot.

Point is the project Incarna shouldnt made it to live without the needed testing for HW failure ... something was very wrong out there. Fail-save feature of some kind. Altho for those with OCed comps it was not an issue since we got HW monitor allways up and running ..just in case something goes very wrong..

Anyway its kind out of topic .. and been discussed to death ...

Congrats to all who cares, and for those who dont i guess you dont mind to have it back either.

Yep. My PC just crashes in WiS if I have a few programs open next to EVE.
And last time I looked the horrible shades that make your character look like a zombie in some spots were still in place.
Let them debug and smoothen the whole thing first!
