Item filtering - make it list-like rather than checkbox?

The most common case I can see is that I want one filter active at a time - filtering for "modules" and "ammunition" at the same time makes no sense, so one should deactivate the other.

But in some cases I'd want two filters active - say "modules" and "valuable". For this less common case, I'd go an extra step of ctrl-clicking.

ie, make the behaviour the same as the traditional GUI listbox, or the in-game items list - click to select only one item, ctrl-click to toggle selection of another, shift-click to select a range (not that that makes sense for filters, but if you're going to re-use the widget anywhere...)


(Incidentally, is etiquette on this forum to post one thread per issue, or to keep the whole category of issues in a single thread? I'm defaulting to one thread per issue since that seems to make sense from a software development perspective, but I guess it might be considered spam from a social forum user perspective?)
