Gifts are rather lame but I don't mind. There are way too many gifts way too often anyway.

How about this for next anniversary: EVE will not make you a gift, instead it will take something away from you. You can choose:
- hangar heist: a ship is randomly selected and destroyed out of your hangars
- security breach: hackers crack your bank account and steal your ISK: your wallet shrinks by 30%
- crappy clone: on your next podding, your med clone malfunctions and is counted as grade alpha

The gifts are very underwhelming. The blog was terrible. When you go too overboard on trying to sell something it can have the exact opposite effect of what you are hoping for. Too many overly exaggerated hyperboles to the point that it felt like you were trying to make a bowl of sand sound like Surf and Turf from the best restaurant in town.

The gifts.. rather bleh... All those ships, I can go out and buy and fly...
I suppose they're a good present for the people starting out... but for the veterans.. bleh..
I'm definitely going for the collectible book :)

For the 10th birthday you guys better have something awesome though!

Even if it's just a small ship like the echelon zephyr or apotheosis!!
Would give you 100 internets if its of Jove design like the apotheosis!! :D

Meh, completely underwhelmed by the gifts tbh, vanila T1 cruisers and crappy Implants? come on €€P you can do better than that.

Neural Re-map and/or Free SP's, ammount of SP's based on how long you have been subbed to EVE, anything else is just rubbish, who decided on the gifts btw, the Marketing Department?

hi i love this game been playing from nearly day one and its getting better every year Big smile went to fanfest for the first time this year and had a great time roll on next year i think the presents r a good idea but most of us old player will not really get anything out of them as we already have the skills and r way past playing with t1 crusiers but for new and maybe 2 year old players i think its great wish we had this kind of stuff every year from ur first birthday onwards could have saved me some isk Lol

hope all the new player have fun with the free stuff and keep up the good work

Those gifts (w/o Mining crystals + two +4 int/+4 mem implants) is ABSOLUTE USELESS. EvilEvilEvil

Give us something useful: Neural remap, Zephyr, etc.
