I noticed the same thing on my pilot a few minutes ago. Oddly enough, I relogged on this machine and now she seems to be back to her old self. I wonder if it's a cache thing or something. But initially, it appeared as if her chin and mouth were 'off'.

Ive heard we will get a re-sculpt with the full expansion. You can adjust it back.

I can't tell at all. Then again, it's dark enough in here that I'm lucky if people notice I'm missing an eye.

I have examined the images very closely. The geometry has not changed.
It would appear that the lower face looks different because it has a slight shadow making it look thinner. In fact, the shading on the bottom of the face is around 20% thicker, even though the image is much smaller. At some points it seems to merge with the neck shadow, but it does not.

The face is the same, but the lighting angle is significantly different which changes highlighting around the chin and cheeckbones. It doesn't help that the toon has a very bland skin tone, no wrinkling or ageing effects, no expression and a very front-on picture.

Reset please. Still sexy as hell but not exactly the way i was "born". Not a fan of aftermaker plastic surgery alterations.

I kinda hoped that if they were to introduce look-altering aspects to avatars people would get a choice to remodel.

Not just repose or use different lighting / tattoos / jewelry.

Character looks are a very personal aspect to any sort of game that allows for customization and - after feeling alienated from mine when the new system was introduced - it looks like we're going to have to 'deal with it' again.

Unless I overlooked something and we DO get a new remake with the proposed changes (i'd like to have a bit more than speculation as far as this is concerned).
