I had to reformat my hard drive and now i'm using a program to find the deleted files. I've recovered a good portion of them but I'm not sure which file bookmarks / bookmark folders were saved under. Also I had a lot of info in my notepad. Anyone know the file that has that information?

Bookmarks are server sided iirc - not sure about notes as I never really used the ingame notes, but I think they are too...

Sorry dude, same thing here back awhile.

They are on the HD, and now gone with the winds.

I got some of them back from my now temp drive that used to be my main drive and I never had deleted the EVE folders, so I copied them back out of there.

Notepad files are server side. And THAT I know since I 'm vacationing across the country at a friends and I'm using thier computer and they are indeed here, and not on my machine exclusively, obviously.

That's some great news. Thanks for the info! Super happy that notes are server side. Extremely sad that bookmark folders are not. Someone start a thread on allowing bookmark folders and overview to be server side. Honestly, Its not that much data and it makes me feel like not starting up again... lol i'm lying about not starting up again but its a huge hassell that i'll have to delete all my bookmarks now. Since I wont know where they go.

Ah ok - sorry - misunderstood the question. I'm afraid I can't help you there - my guess is they were stored in some file in your users\documents\eve folder, but I can't tell you which specific file that would be as I use a naming scheme instead of folders, personally - maybe anyone using BM folders can check ifor the specific file inthere in case you can't just recover the entire folder.

IIRC bookmark folders are stored in your user settings file, which is (of course) a binary file instead of something sensible like XML.
