several thoughts:
1. will there be faction/deadspace cap/shield boosters for the rich kids?
2. how exactly do shifting armor resistances work and Y U NO GIVE shifting shield resistances?
3. will those drone ships that are already viable be nerfed to compensate for drone damage mods?

I should buy an Ishtar.

Looks interesting. I'm hesitant about the inventory revamp though, since I haven't heard anything about it yet and don't know how much they're messing with stuff. I like the rest of the stuff though (well, I'm cautiously hopeful the war and FW stuff will be good, the rest of it I like though).

I have no idea who Rainbow Dash is, but Myrmidon just got buffed and will fart happy rainbows from now on.

this drone damage thing is pure bullshit, it was hard enough to fit tank on frigates against drones so you could survive just for long enough. Drone damage mods negate this.

Ok so in your mind drones are only used against frigates and thus drones should not be able to kill frigates, and drones should be the only weapon system in game without damage mods?

a similarly stupid counter: drones are drones, they arent guns or launchers so why should they have damage mods?

Just because there are some items ingame affecting other items does not mean all other should have similar mods as well, its no reason.

In fact with med web drones, assuming five of them web as much as ... a web then I can see things looking up for frigs in some cases... at least they ll have a lot less valkyries II to worry about P

What worries me more is the drone mod... because the name sounds like a low slot... if that's the case... I ll probably go on Sisi and have some fun with a 1600-1700 dps Domi once it updates Shocked

Making them a hi slot is a LOT more balanced for drone ships but it would have the sad side effect of further nerfing winmatar....

Perhaps the time for the mid slot drone damage mod has arrived... (we might even start using Rattlers again Big smileBig smileBig smile

The drone damage mod is only going to be slapped onto drone boats. Mathematically I'm better off with a gyro on most Minmatar boats with some exceptions. Small drone ships like the Ishkur will be a toss-up. The ships that will like this:

Typhoon, Domi, Ishtar, myrmidon, Arb and it's T2 variants, sentinel, and possibly the worm and Ishkur.

Fueled Shield booster (Small/Medium/Large Ancillary Shield Booster), using Cap Boosters as charges : essentially combines a shield booster and a cap booster into one module, you burn cap boosters to boost your shield directly rather than boosting your cap and then boosting your shields with cap. I imagine they'll be really popular with shield pvpers.

Resistance shifting armor hardener (Armor Adaptive Hardener) : a dynamic hardener that shifts resistances to the last damage type you were hit with. Get hit with thermal for example, your thermal resistances go up until you get shot with something else.

Amarr V3 : Amarr ships will look prettier!
