WH's and corps

So after living in WH space for the last 7months (C5 and C4) and just now recently moving out to null and noticing that my corp is to inactive for me to enjoy much of eve anymore I'm looking for a new WH group to chill and shoot **** with (preferable a very active group).

So here's the problem since me being the Elitetist WH person I am, I look at WH groups recruiting and I started thinking are these people the idiots i'm used to ganking or are they the peeps i'm dodging at whs. Not only that but I get paranoid when I think of bringing In any T3 ships into a group I don't know.

So those of you who are familiar with joining an established WH group how did you get around this classic WH paranoia when joining a new WH corp and how did you identify the gankers vs the gankees.

-p.s. I fly amarr, caldari, and gallente between my 2 characters

The good WH groups will be less likely to accept you. If they actually have open recruitment they're going to be looking at your previous corp as well as your killboard, both of which seem to be lacking. Also WH corps tend to look down on null sec corps, even/especially if they (try to) live in w-space. Not saying you don't have a chance, put you won't be able to be picky.

Most of the corps listed here are good: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=101842

Killboards means nothing except activity, its the Eve Online' Gear Score of WoW. Having good kb stats when outnumbering your opponents by 3 to 1 ( and sometimes more ) does not make you a pvp god, its quite the opposite in fact.

And im not exactly sure why wh corps would look down at people who joined 0.0 corps , its not because you live in a WH that you 're better than anyone else, you know.

They mean a hell of a lot more than that to somebody who knows how to use them.

True. But only having 38 kills over a character's lifetime might be considered a sign of inexperience in pvp. Also, activity is very important in w-space. No one needs another member to be on a killmail; but every w-space corp wants initiative in its members.

Also, true. And there are many 0.0 groups that are respected, like Rote Kappelle and Fairlight Corp. But by and large w-space groups look down on the average 0.0 alliance that thinks pvp=1000 man blobs. Although we do appreciate it when they try to fight in w-space.Twisted

You will also find that most 'good WH corps' and believe me we could sit here all day arguing who is a 'good' WH corp and who isn't but the point is if there good you need to find them if they are trying to convince you to join they either love you ALOT or they desperatly need more members which suggests a high level of inactivity.

Must explain why most WH corps are so shite. *whistles while being in the alliance that lives entirely in wspace but roams null daily*

I'm talking about the groups that live in null sec but try to farm and occasionally invade w-space. You guys are obviously different.

Confirming that the Republic Military School is an oft-undervalued WH force.

cybus already said it.

the more selective recruitment is, probably better the corp is. you got to find them they wont come looking for you!
