I don't think that was a story, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the Gallente one ;D

I just logged into SISI and hopped into an Amarr station. I saw no huge golden statues! Sad

Can we have them please?

The statues didn't make it into the build, they'll be there next time we update Sisi ( in two weeks max I think ). The frapsed video was taken off the latest internal dev server.

I don't know that they have that much intention behind the design. I know the NeX upgrade CQ will likely be larger, but I don't see them being more spacially comfortable.

These first CQ's are meant to be the most basic option, functional and cheap over comfort and luxury. The upgraded versions will presumably be more homely as it will be something you invested in to make a home, rather than being the station you happen to be visiting.

These come as part of the docking service, a budget hotel, the upgraded versions are more like buying your own house or renting longer term.

I like the look of this. I also hope some optimisation has been done so I can start frying eggs in the kitchen again instead of on my video card when CQ is running. *)

I cannot test this unfortunately because I seem to be unable to log into the the latest build on SiSi. Bug report filed: 116912.

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

I honestly hope that any customization options available in the future are on a per-station basis, and do not magically apply to every single station you ever dock at. Immersion is important to me, and creating a sense of "home" at a particular station will have a much more positive effect on immersion than just making it a generic "upgrade all my docking rights at all stations to CQ level 2" or something.

All the CQ look great but when I got on my characters didn't look the same as on TQ. The hair and clothes where the same but the features changed.

Also, what's with the new font? I don't like it. What happened to the old font?

I imagine it will work on a per-station basis, given that NeX items are equipped on a per-jump clone basis. If I JC then my monocle is left behind in my hangar as an item, I'd assume a similar approach would apply to items that go into my CQ, if I want toown a fishtank, I need to put it in my cargohold and move it around.

Yo Torfi, Fallout... I dig the new CQs, especially the Caldari one. Which is awesome, because my chosen home just happens to be a Caldari station. I was keeping my fingers crossed for a good implementation, and what can I say... thumbs up.

However, there's this teensy little thing I'd like to have, that would make me like all the CQs even more:

I realize it's using deferred rendering, but can we please please please get some form, any form of anti-aliasing into the Incarna engine? SmileSmileSmile

Is ship spinning deployed? When I turn off the CQ and dock, I get a starfield with nothing in it. I'm docked because I have the correct icons on the left and a funky new "unboard your ship" button above the undock button, but no ship to spin!

^^This, in amarr station. Haven't tried any of the others yet.

Edit: Seems to work now after restarting client.

Edit2: Hitting the load cq button from the ship spinning gives the old door

For those of you unable to accept the EULA on sisi here is how to fix that...

drive-where-windows-is\Users\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\name-of-your-singularity-build\settings
open file: prefs.ini
search line : languageID=**
change it to languageID=EN

For some reason the sisi installer had set mine to languageID=SV which simply doesnt work when ccp doesnt support swedish :D

these CQs are clearly better than the minmatar one, they seems bigger, there is more space

however the hangar view seems heavily bugged, i can only access it by logging a docked character while not having checked the load station...
after undocking or switching to CQ, i can't go back to hanagr view without login off and coming back
(i made a bug report about this)

Whould seem they are having some issues... I cant even get passed the EULA part since I am unable to scroll down and accept it :P

I'm honestly not a huge fan of Incarna, especially considering other problems in the game, but this stuff looks friggin awesome. And now I'm excited for Incarna for the first time. Hope the rest of station interiors comes out soon.

Ok, I'm a teeny bit confused. I got ship spinning working by running with the log server going... no idea on that...

However, I've got the "load station environment" unchecked. When I dock, I get the old ship spinning hanger back. There is then the "unboard" button.

Now, I'm expecting this button to send me into Captains Quarters. After all, why else would it be there? But it gives me THE DOOR! Shocked

(I've just undocked and docked again and I've got the star field rather than spinning. Something a bit funky there!)
