Goonswarm and friends lack the funding and attention span to sustain a prolonged attack against anything...

Are they not anchored to the SA forum community anymore? That's always been the biggest reason they didn't just fall apart before.

The problem is that Goons are now trying to play the game "legitimately", which they will ultimately fail at. They are also very isolated from the greater EVE community - they don't even recruit from EVE, and consider themselves to be greater than, or superior to, the EVE community. They are starting to take themselves way too seriously - just look at all the butthurt and forum porn they've provided for us over the past year.

Taking themselves way too seriously, butthurt over criticism, consider themselves superior to everyone else... yep. I've seen this on many other MMORPGs. 1 year. And that's only because they can leverage SA to get some fresh blood.

What have you done for us lately? Oh - Yeah. An entertaining weekend, which I much enjoyed.

BUT... I was expecting moooore! I have a stack of unexpended PvP kessies, and now I'm going to have to go out and find my own fights, 'cause the Goons aren't bringing them to me any longer. Waaaaah!*

ALL players I've talked to said Burn Jita was the best pvp in Eve since they started playing the game, some of them 6 years old.

No caps dropped, constant fighting, lots of tactical decision making and a minimal amount of delay plus tons of isk in suicide drops. We stole an Orca from one of the Goons suicide wrecks plus the billions in Nado/ship mods.

My crew jumped into some random freighter corp "Push-X" that Goons dec'd and fought them daily.

Some highlights, we took on their Nado fleets with 5 dessies killed 10 of them in 1 go lost 3 dessies, wiped out their entire 50 man PvP fleet on Jita undock with a handful of guys.

PvP could be found at nearly every gate, on the undocks of most stations and if you could probe Goons were found at safe spots.

We hit them everywhere all day long.

I know they don't care about their losses and tbh neither did we. It was a blast. Please Goons come back to hi sec and Burn all the main trade hubs.

Goons are a sad little gang that needs to feel superior to others due to the fact they get their arses kicked daily in the real world.

Low self esteem is a prerequisite for joining goons.

You see the same superiority mentality in schoolyard gangs full of underachievers.

And let's face it. If you were 30 and still flipping burgers for a living, you'd want to take it out on someone.

But I love them. Every game needs bad guys.

I'm sorry the burning of Jita was planned for a weekend and the weekend ran out of days.

Anyway, anything that keeps industrial ships and freighters popping in and around Jita is good in my book. Stir up our economy, Goonswarm.
