I knew about this already ... fact is, I usually assume any wild animal is a ... well, AN ANIMAL and decide to skip on the myths, ever since I watched a little monkey masturbate and ... finish over a girl when I was a kid , when I was in a family friends house reunion.

Never looked at any kind of monkey, ape, gorilla, parrot, hamster or anything that lives naturally in the wild with the same eyes ever.

Oh to add insult to injury after being traumatized by the lewd behaviour of such animals, I remember deciding to own a hamster, then I watched a mother cannibalize its brood in front of me and then giving me that dumbfounded look of "WHAT?". My face was ... "MEH".

Primates ripping their enemies genitalia, rodents eating their own brood and even cute seagulls eating even cuter baby ducklings, honestly, I never understood this whole mindset of romanticizing nature.

... and dolphins are in fact serial murderers. They will murder pod members periodically.

As for animals attacking each other in the family jewels, I always wondered why this didn't happen less with mammals. Seriously if there was ever a design flaw in mammals: big old sack hanging out there with very sensitive stuff inside. Sure the internal organs are inside the rib cage and the belly is mainly in a protected underside if you don't walk upright but the sack?

Might as well have red hair all over it with a yellow bullseye. It only take 2 lbs of pulling force on the "seminefrious tubules" to break them and cause very heinous pain.

For this I think the first real invention of mankind was very tight underwear for combat.
