Multiple Clients... launcher keeps on resetting the info.plist Bundle and PRefs names

Started tonight after a patcher update.

Anyone else experiencing this? I've tried resetting the properties a few times, the patcher simply resets them back after doing a validation and mini patch update.

Although the workaroud proposed on thread works, is it possible to create an Eve Launcher that doesn't include the info.plist file in the checksum checking?

I would prefer that to constantly changing the info.plist before starting the client...

Someone posted another workaround that bypasses the launcher altogether. This is what I'm doing, works great.

Launch from the innermost Eve*.app which avoids having to update info.plist after every launch. If you get the "Incompatible Protocol" then you know to use the launcher to update.

Yeah these workarounds are very frustrating.

I made a How-To video that I uploaded to YouTube showing the process for multiple clients with the original Inferno patch and Launcher. It didn't have problems with the Info.plist file until that latest mini patch for me.

The launcher is what has made EVE struggle for multiple clients in my opinion. I can see where CCP would want a launcher for the patching before starting the client, but to build it and not do any major Quality Testing for multiple clients is very bad for a software company.

If they continue to have the checksum they need to now officially support multiple clients and build into the launcher to choose an external preference location / name, and have it save so even after patching we don't have to jump through hoops to get the multiple instances working.

Here is the Mutli-client Inferno Patch video for anybody having trouble with setting up EVE for multiple clients. This doesn't show to make an alias (option + command + drag) with the second EVE Online.app file, but you should have figured that out by this thread. Make sure you read the details as things change I'll keep it updated on the work arounds.
