…Shortbus Coalition proceeded to shoot our on-lining SBU on the TZL gate with their battleships and we mooched around. Bombers were ineffective beyond catching stragglers at this point so we burnt back to FDZ to re-ship into our third and final outfit for the evening. For the last week or so we have been using tornados to camp Pinked inside their station. Our setup is pretty straightforward, large (for a Tier 3 BC) shield buffer and 1200mm arty, supported by lachesis, huggin & scimis. Like clockwork Shortbus Coalition bailed from the SBU as soon as we jumped into LR- and hunkered down in their station. They switched for pulse & arty and the exchange of long-range battleship fire started. They couldn’t tackle **** so we warped out when we caught too much fire, and we couldn’t kill stuff as they were triaging their carrier on station. This went on for a while and we managed to kill a tempest of theirs who was napping and they blapped a couple of us with 1-2-3 calling who failed to get aligned in time. An impasse had been reached and it was getting late for both teams.

We warped a couple of dictors to the TZL SBU and cloaked them, moved the ‘nados a couple of jumps out and waited. Sure enough the Shortbus Coalition battleships started undocking and aligning. Excited, we moved 1 jump closer, and as soon as the Shortbus Coalition fleet landed on the TCU we started burning back into LR-. Before Shortbus could warp out our dictors redeemed themselves for some earlier fails and bubbled the whole lot. We warped in at 70km and started blapping. At this point we had only 9 tornadoes, lachesis, huggin, couple of scimis, falcon and light tackle vs 20 battleships, couple of BC and two guardians. All bubbled and aligned back to their station they were ripe for the picking. It was slow progress due to the guardians, but our falcon, Taqua did a sterling job jamming **** and the battleships started dying one by one. Our dictors weaved in and out of the enemy fleet managing to bubble the battleships over a long stretch (Jin’s dictor took 25,000 damage before he went down!). Getting nervous Shortbus decide to warp an archon to the field and he manages to stabalize a couple of the battleships, however they fail to commit him to triage and every time our falcon got a jam off on him we carved up another tempest/geddon.

At this point they clearly want to dis-engage, and despite doing an epic job we are down to one dictor who can’t keep all of them bubbled as they are strung across quite a wide area. They get a lucky jam off with ECM drones on our lachesis who has the archon pointed and regrettably he gets to warp off, the remaining non-bubbled battlehsips following swiftly behind. The enemy FC, Starcrash is saved for last and un-ceremoniously exploded podded.

The Battle report is messed up because it was a six-hour long fight but we killed a total of 16 armour battleships, couple of battlecruisers and lots of tackle/bombers in exchange for a loki, 4 tier3 BC, and a handful of bombers & dictors.
