Has anybody seen a bunch of yellow-blue Mercomesian floor carpets (1.5m x 2.3m) in the Jita docking bay recently?

Should be about 8 of them in a small standard container labelled "floor decoration". Reward of 40 ISK for anyone who can return them to me.

I believe that the carpets were transported back to Mercomesier.

I can only imagine they are being used to decorate the interior of the new Federation Outposts being built to replace the many that were captured last night by Caldari Colonial Defense Ministry.

20 ISK reward for telling you where they are at least?...

Derp. Found them. They were in the back of my cargohold underneath a pile of civilian gatling lasers.

What's so special about Mercomesian carpets?

I mean, my apartment has authentic hand-crafted rugs straight from Intaki Prime, but that's not particularly difficult given that I live in the same system.

The carpets you get out of Mercomesier are made from an enormous number of uniquely thin nano-fibres. Using a computer controlled loom it's possible to "write" a huge amount of encrypted information into a single carpet. You could fit the entirety of the Pax Amarria into a single cubic micrometer of carpet fibres if you had the right computer. The opportunities for smuggling information are obvious. In this case, the carpets were being used by Caldari Militia commanders to carry information about negotiations with local alliances.

Do the letters O, P, S, E and C mean anything to you?
