Navy attacks with -0.7 sec status

While hanging out in Jita, I am being attacked by the Caldari navy. Since I have been a naughty boy, my sec status is -0.7. According to the EvE wiki, the faction navy will only attack you in a 0.9 system ( such as Jita) if your sec status is -2.5 or lower.

Anyone have any suggestions as to why the Caldari navy is picking on me? I am feeling very unloved. Cry

This is happening on April 28 which, as we all know, is Burn Jita day. Could it be that the Navy has been told to be especially unforgiving on this eventful day?

How's your faction standings with the Caldari?

Could be your activities in FW or in certain L4 missions have drawn the unfavorable attention.

I have no standings with the Caldari faction. Only negative standings are with Concord and the NPC corp of the guy I partially ganked.

CCP was kind enough to bring back the hidden agression timers again.

If you are GCC next to a station/gate the owning faction will start their 15 min agression timer. If you have GCC and hang around in a pod for 10 minutes in space and then decides to dock in say jita 4-4, just as you dock you get a nice fresh 15 minutes timer with Caldari Navy (that won't show up).

The only way to get away from this is to stay docked for more than 15 minutes, regardless if the GCC timer is ended a lot sooner or not.

As long as you have faction agression you will have the counter restarted as soon as you are next to anything they own in space.

I just had the same thing, its really stupid and i cant wait for the new timers system ccp showed at fanfest.

I had it happen to my Mach the other day in 1.0 system and my sec was -1.98. I sent a petition to CCP and gotbthe ship back GM said was a server side problem hownit read sec status and it would be fixed.
