Worst Drake Build Ever?

Just found a ship I had left way far out and brought it back with the intention of stripping and selling it. But now I don't think I have the heart to. I'm gonna have to keep it as a token of how I had no clue of the correct way to build a Drake. I'm surprised the thing survived anything and just wish EVE had a date stamp on ships so I could determine how long ago this was... LOL!

The Worst Drake Fit Ever perhaps?

Reminds me of the Catalyst fit I found from my first few weeks of playing. It had a shield booster, armor repairer, cargo expander, mining laser, ACs (150mm and 200mm), Arty, and rail guns.

I keep it around to remind me that we were all newbs when it comes to fitting at one point or another and to be patent with people I'm teaching how to fit ships, lol.

Mm I've seen a drake fit with 3 civilian shield boosters before. Guy posted on C&P about getting ganked in it.. The ganker saw the post and replied with the fit OP was using. If I find it, I will post it here because it was pretty lolworthy

I was worse when I started. Sad

If I knew I would subscribing I would have taken a moment to try and learn this stuff.

Honestly though they should have a basic fitting road map for new players.

I don't know, my boss found a pretty bad one. Guy brought this out in defense of his can.

I put a bunch of shield flux coils on once, along with a bunch of rechargers
Couldn't tank for ****, so it blew up... (Along with about 20 other PvE Ships I've lost, most expensive being a Raven)

I remember fitting armor and shields as well as mixed guns. Thought I had it covered!

Apparently that was my 2nd Drake fit about two years ago after playing for about a month. I have since found the original Drake and it is more focused. Has been refit properly as well. Nothing like being in your Original Drake with it being fit right.

I just wish ships had original assembly dates, like Character / Toons Birthdates. Ships should also have serial numbers.

Would that not be cool? The older they get perhaps the more they would be worth.

I didn't really get the "all slots should be used" deal when I started. So I just trained missiles, ignored fitting skills, and was really surprised when my Caracal, boasting a full rack of heavy launchers but nothing save for a single civilian booster in the lower slots got completely melted in a L2.

OP we all know you just made this fit, and wanted to show it off as 'my first fit from when i was younger' so we don't laugh you out of house and home.

As an earlier fit, this is allowed to slide.

It was sucessful in the sense that it didn't become a lulz mail.

I lied :o

so its not that bad of a fit, i mean its got a prop mod, and is using its 2 abonuses, hell it is even using the right kind of tank.

I'm now going to fit up a Ibis with maximum DPS (1 Drone YAY) and go PvP in it.
