Perfect refiner - Caldari Navy

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I'm certain most industrialists have a pilot with perfect refining skills and standings for Caldari Navy which services and assistance I need.

I don't know where else to turn to, as none of my contacts have one, and my alt is 10 days away from it.

I would be happy to pay for the service, which should not take more than 2-3 minutes. Stuff is located in Jita 4-4 and eating some of my potential capital.

Thank you in advance

Cheers

Some very nice guy contacted me but was wary of the fact that this could be some sort of ISK laundry operation and decided to not do it in the end.

To be honest I was myself scared I could get scammed - darn eve with its paranoia nurturing mechanics.

Still looking - if its any way to prove its not some weird ISK laundry scheme let me know.

I think you may be going about this the wrong way.

If you have a constant supply of materials in Jita which need refining, you would do well to train and rep up a perfect refine yourself for long-term profits.
If you have a bunch of one-time stuff that needs to be refined, you may be better off selling it as-is.

That is as much help as I can give you without knowing more details of your situation.

Perfect refining is very worth it in the long run, but may be a waste if you don't use it constantly.

As i said in 1st post - my alt is 10 days from it skill wise.

Not having a refiner is something I didn't miss up until recently - I'm well aware of the importance of this ability in ones arsenal of skills, at least I do now.

Just selling them is not an option as its allot of random crap and can't really deal with so many orders, selling to buy orders directly is not an option.

Spread the love and give me a hand.

sorry. I mis-read what the issue was.

I have Perfect (Ores up through Hedbergite, Ice, and Scrapmetal) with Kaalakiota and Wyirkomi if you can get that stuff out of Jita.

So, Meta 0 modules?

If it is skills, rather than rep, that is your barrier to a perfect refine, consider getting the refining skillwire. With just the Refining/ Refinery Efficiency skills + the skillwire, you can get a perfect refine without having to grind up Metallurgy V just to qualify for Scrap Metal Processing. Granted, the skillwires can be pricy, but it can shave time off your skills.

I'd help you myself but I have poor standing with the Caldari.

Anyone in a hurry to play EVE is in the wrong game.

Metallurgy V and other do become inevitable.

I'm fully aware I only need Ref Eff to V standings and implant for a perfect refine - 10 days till my perc/will alt will hit that.

Until that time I would love to have this batch refined so I can be done with.

Help meeeeeee

One last thought, though I'm not 100% sure if the contract system can handle this:

Create an item exchange contract where you offer up all your junk modules and request in return the total minerals they would refine into (assuming a perfect refine).

Throw some cash on top to sweeten the deal and you might get someone to bite.

A contract can be set like that I think - but is no doable since the one accepting the contract has now way of knowing how many minerals all my junk will refine into.

Are you seriously THIS desperate for the cash from some meta 0 Loot ? Really ? You have no other income ?

I'm starting to smell a rat slightly, especially since you apparently cannot or will not move it out of Jita. Cool

and yes, we can figure out what the trash refines into Blink

Could have refined it and been done with it in the time he's taken to post. Something definately amiss here...

Seriously. With only 10 Days to go in training, he is at IV.........so it's only losing a teeeeeeny bit.

Rat....................definitely.

Stuff refines into a decent amount of isk depending of your standards. Being a trader myself I tend to cut my losses to a minimum in every situation. Not moving it out of Jita since I sold my 2 freighters for a profit during the goon blockade. All the modules amount to a 250k m3 so ....

I really don't understand how this is such a big deal and leading people to think ... god knows what shady things they think I'm up to. Pretty amusing seeing people jumping to conclusions sometimes learning or not latter that they misread or misunderstood the whole deal.

I wouldn't call this a desperate situation. I'm just asking for someone to help that's all. I help allot of people i barely meet all the time in EVE ( that's right, full time care bear ) and I am certain there are many like myself.

Just throw it up on contract for 2 weeks. If nobody bites by that time, your alt will have the skills needed anyway.

I agree with Krixtal though. Unless you have several billion tied up in Meta 0 junk, I'd just refine at your present skills and take the slight loss, especially since this is just a 1 time thing.

I disagree that this is suspicious behavior though.

If you DO have a billion tied up in Meta 0, that would explain the hesitation to move all that junk, as well as the desire to minimize waste. Of course, if that is the case, then wait the 10 days as it is unlikely anyone would accept a junk-for-minerals contract of that size.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

Thank you for trying to help me out Pinstar. Actually it all worked out - some guy that messed up a zero on an order today and which I refunded asked his mates and he hooked me up.

The modules where worth 1.9b at current jita mineral prices so it would have been to much of a hustle and stress to move around with the goon blockade that might or might not be over yet and Hulkageddon.

Thank you to all who posted.

Cheers - I declare this tread officially closed

What does it mean in this situation a : rat
