Using abandoned drones to delay death by CONCORD is an exploit and those found doing it will be dealt with accordingly.

Watching people succeed within the rules and changing them to prevent future similar success is what turned NASCAR into a irrelevant motorsport .

People driving in a circle for hours has always been nothing more than an excuse to drink. I feel sorry for you if you ever thought there was more to it.

Put those guys on something like the Nurbergring if you want to be entertained without alcohol being required.

Well it's a good thing EVE isn't a motorsport then.

No!!!!!!! What turned NASCAR into an irrelevant "motorsport" (sport? really?) was the jump drive! You should have paid more attention in history class.

No longer do we have to drive in circles over and over while beer guzzling,hat-wearing tobacco-chawing fans scream in surprise as they see you come around the curve ("where did he come from?!?!? I just saw him pass 30 sec ago!)

We just press autopilot now....

there was a time when it was like going to a hockey game...just saying when they take all the fun out of it it becomes ALL ABOUT THE BEER

NASCAR used to be about aggressive driving. I find a lot of similarities in the rules changes imposed by NASCAR on it's sport and the dumbing down of EveOnline

I think the accidents are still the high points, though, aren't they?

Although, it would be better if accidents were guaranteed. I agree with you there. Always feel ripped off when no one crashes.

Eve is an irrelevant motorsport because I am butthurt that CCP is not allowing people to use "within the rules" exploits to go directly against the over-and-over stated game rule that you are not allowed to dodge CONCORD.

I think the big point here we're missing since when was NASCAR ever really that relevant?

Your analogy is flawed. People abandoning drones are not working within the rules, they were operating outside of them to circumvent the intended functioning of Concord.

Lol..no. I don't own a freighter but as I passed through I do recall seeing you outside Jita 4-4.

I didn't know they still sold Meisterbrau beer. Is it still the cheapest? You really looked like you were enjoing it.

You mean 2.5 hours of driving really fast, needing a team and burns you out. One person messes and fleet is wiped? Also cars in nascar are not allowed any automation/programming etc so user is what gets things done? Good analogy. Probably the only real track motorsport still around since it is all the driver.

NASCAR was irrelevant as soon as it devolved into turning left forever.
F1 requires actual skill. Hell, any sort of track racing takes skill.

Of course, there are still far superior motorsports. Demolition derby, monster truck racing, rallying...
