For those of you inquiring or wondering about walking in stations via establishments: we will be releasing more information. I currently don't know the timeline for the info release. I do know that my answer will annoy some people, and I apologize. If I run into Guard later (he left for the day) I will see if he's familiar with when that info will be out (Guard is the new king of blog publishing :)).

That is a GOOD post. Straight up info, telling us what you know (or in this case don't know) without making it sound like something it isn't. If anyone gets annoyed with that, they really need to think a bit. Don't know really means don't know.

I may not like you or your point of view but you have a right to voice it.

Beautiful work, really.

Now, how 'bout those bug fixes that make the flying bits annoying as hell? Any word on that front?

They do look rather slick and must have taken a LOT of effort to craft all those details.

Whatever "dev" it was that removed the pod squish sound probably never even logged into the game.

Is the clothing simulation ever getting fixed? It looks like it's just glued to the body of the avatar. This is very apparent on the video in the devblog, especially when the walking avatar is viewed from behind.

This, exactly. This is how you communicate with the "rabble" :) Forward, to the point, not promising anything that is not 100% confirmed and a willingness to go a little bit beyond the call of duty to provide the information that the customers want. This is text-book customer relations.

Eventhough I don't care about the CQ at all, I can still honestly say that this how I would wish CCP would behave towards their customers at all times.

CCP Fallout - awesome post!

So.... what is that blank, white square at the bottom of the blog about? Is CCP now addicted to enigmas?

What browser are you using? It's a video; some browsers (e.g. IE) don't like the IFRAME code iirc

I'm using firefox, but the white box was the box that appears when someone screws up the html code ^^. I posted that seconds after the blog was posted, so Its fixed now.

Now a question. Why can't we "pick" what type of quarters we want appearing for us? An amarr pilot might be forced to live in a minmattar station so, with all his wealth (ISK, not AUR), why can't he switch the type of quarters he gets on that specific station?

The world is a community of idiots doing a series of things until it explodes and we all die.

re the dev blog:
One more step complete before WIS can be abandoned... I really hope establishments gets done quickly, not for the content (or lack thereof) but so that the devs assigned to it can get back to doing something important: working on EVE.

While it should never have been removed, it is awesome it's back :) Why didn't you put this in the blog?

Holy crap in the spring you released an expansion that totally ****** the game. You have been loosing numbers ever since and your answer to that is more of the same? Do you guys have any clue what you are doing? What part of unfuck the game don't you understand? Your theories were wrong. You are loosing players not gaining. At what point will you re-evaluate? The only reason I even have account time to rant on this forum is because I was dumb enough to pre-pay a year thinking I'd be playing this game for ever.

You guy are clueless. Totally out of touch with reality and your customers. Your ploy to drop your customer base and chase after a new one did not work. Have fun in the unemployment line.

I hope that as well as lens flares, the Eve future will be full of STABILITY. The CQ isn't much use when--even with a pretty hi-spec rig--having it enabled crashes my system with alarming regularity. I came within a hair of dumping EVE altogether out of disgust at the stability problems. The only way I can play the game is with CQ disabled.

It would be really nice if CCP would prioritize stability over cutting-edge CQ graphics.

@CCP_Fallout: I was wrong!!! The CQ you get is based on the race of the station!!!

Why would which room you see be determined by what ethnicity your character is? If I go to Japan I'd expect to see Japanese architecture, not some quaint english village because I'm english. Some people just don;t think logically, of course the station interior would be determined by the race of the station you docked at! Ugh

Glad to see the missing CQ's finally though, looking forwards to them arriving on TQ at last. They all look suitably suitable. Cool
