I personally think CCP is being cruel, banned the mittani for a month, inciting a ploy to knock jita on it's ass, then using the event itself as PR bonus points. Who's controlling who now?

The problem is pubbies think that it's only EVE that's controlled by goons. We run the corporations, we whisper in the politicians' ears, we are the shadow government that rules the very world itself. When an individual displays excessive anti-goon tendencies, we begin to poison their water supply until they turn into a drooling idiot. You can see the result of that right here. How better to discredit our opposition than to make it so they're too dumb to do anything but discredit themselves?
