If the counter module was a medium slot, what would you say?

Would have to be a high or low slot otherwise it wouldnt make sense.

Though I dont believe they should ever make a direct counter to webbing outside of the obvious.

Webs already have a counter, two of them in fact. They're called "Afterburner" and "Micro Warp Drive".

The Overdrive Injector also counters the web.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Webs effect all ships (except the EWAR immune ones) however they are not that powerful, you need 3 60% webs to get the effect of an old 90%, they are easily counter by going faster.

They already do. It's called an Afterburner.

Now that I bothered to read the other responses, I see I am way behind the power curve. What they said.

they do there called BLASTERS if he can web you you can just shoot him in the face. Unless of course hes in one of the long range web ships then you use the "golf clap" well spamming warp to get your pod out

I wanted to paint my space ship red, but I couldn't find enough goats.

best counter is staying out of web range. c/d?

So OP, your question looks a bit weird to me: It should ask WHY there are so many counters to webs, not IF there should be any...

Isn't their counter module a propulsion modifier?

You can't have counter, counter counter, counter counter counter to infinity.
