Looking for a little help on finding the level 4 mission runners. I have found multple lower level runners using battleships but not the big payday level 4 salvage i have heard about.

Looked up...saw this F***ING clown dropping like a rock.  Woke up in Vylade wondering what just happened!!!

L4 mission salvage is rarely a big payday...just need to get that out of your head. Some rats are better than others. And any mission with a crap load of BS and BC will certainly be better.

But, at the end of the day, your best case scenario is 20M...and that's not going to be a common occurrence. Angels can give you that due to the high instance of Alloyed Tritanium Bars and Armor Plates that "drop". The Blockage or Worlds Collide (Angels) usually gets the best results. Sansha and Septentis are good. Blood Raiders are ok. Guristas suck balls.

In my experience, as someone that used to salvage everything, you're most likely going to be in 8-12M isk range. Not nearly as efficient an isk/hour endeavor as just blitzing missions.

I think it's safe to assume, based on the title of the thread, that the OP has no intention of running missions to find his salvage. Nor did he seem concerned at all with ISK/hr. Anyways...

OP, one great tool for finding mission runners to ninja salvage is Dotlan. You can sort by region and look up the number of NPC kills there over a period of time. You'll also be able to check which stations in those systems have level 4 security agents, then spend some time scouting the traffic in and out of the station to see who runs around in shiny ships for you to ninja.

Good luck!

Find a busy system (not a trade hub), and watch the gates. If you see a lot of faction Battleships (Navy Raven is a good indicator) coming and going, you've found one. I use an Onyx with Sisters Expanded, combat probes, passive targeter w/ship scanner, and sit off gate watching. When I see a pattern with particular ship types I'll scan them down, wait for what I think might get them past the first room, and warp to it. Speed-fit dessie for salvaging sits at gate waiting for runner to return, and then I start jumping through rooms BM'ing wrecks. Once he/she leaves system dessie goes in and cleans up.

Battleship loot is good, but the salvage is where I *personally* take the time (especially if I drop into a room with the runner still in it).

When I ninja salvaged in Caldari Highsec, lots of people ran Angel's Worlds Collide missions it seemed. If a day was good I would salvage the same CNR bot 3 times in a row. Try dropping probes 8AU above the plane of the system so you don't get any interference from the gates/stations. Than look for 1 ship alone with a big radius. If it is BS than go salvage, but a industrial means a noctis is there and it will beat you too the wrecks. For a salvage ship try one that has 4 salvagers, 3 salvage rigs, and a MWD perma running. The punisher is best for this. Best of luck and your isk per hour revolves around scanning speed, use alt+click scanning!

Meh, you don't need to ninja salvage, I leave all wrecks blue and BM it at a gate for looters/salvagers.

Just join Pro Synergy. You'll make more ISK with less effort and be loved by mission runners, not hated, and we all know EVE could use some Love :)
